Ressurecting an Ego-T???

Many months ago I misplaced my Ego-T. I went back to my 510's. Recently I located my Ego-T. It has sat for months full and unused.

I pulled the tank and tossed it. Threw the battery on the charger. I boiled the atty, blew it out and let it dry.

I then dropped a few drops on the battery end of the atty, filled up a new tank, and expected to find the pleasure that I once knew. Nope. Just tastes like burnt plastic. Ugh. I've tried non-powered drags, blowing into it, dripping more on batt end, recleaning, pushing the wick down a bit, etc.

I think I may need to order a new atty.

Is there anything else i can try to bring this back to life?

You might try a series of 5 or 6 dry burns of about 4 seconds each and then retry it.

Why would you drop a few on the battery end of the atty? Don't you want the wick to get wet from the tank side?

I did the same thing.. for some reason in the summer I head back to analogs, but now it's fall and cool I prefer vaping.

I picked mine up after 2-3 months of not using it and it worked fine. All I did is tailpipe it for a few puffs to clean out the juice that was in there.

Works great, no bad taste.
