Restarting Vaping, thinking of Ego-C?

I haven't vaped for about 1-2years now, except the occasional vaporizers bought in corner stores/depanneur (they are so hard to draw from).

I did not keep myself up-to-date and from when I started, it seems like some things have changed. Now, after reading a bit, I think either a Ego-C or Ego-C Twist would be the best to restart vaping with, for me. Any critique?

I also HATED filling cartos, but loved the ease of use. I read a bit about clearomizers and then about tanks... Which would be the least tedious to fill, easy to clean and long lasting? I remember I had to spin my cartos using socks to get the liquid inside the cartos. I do not want that again.... :p

I would also love to jump to a mod eventually. I really like bottom-feeders as it seems the easiest to use (no need for cartos/dripping), but it seems to me that it would be hard to try a lot of juice with bottom-feeders. Is that any true?
Tube mods seem cool, too. Minus the convenience of bottom-feeders.I had KR808s and a Ego pass-through 2 years ago, if that changes anything.
Should I start with a ego, or directly go to a mod, or not? I

Thanks!

I am pretty new too. I went from a Smoov, which is an 808, outgrew those. Now I have 2 1000 mah twists, some stardust clearomizers, and a Vivi Nova. Very easy to use, I vape pretty heavily all day, so my batt lasts about 6-7 hours of solid vaping before it needs charged again. It is really nice to have a battery that lasts longer than an hour:) I like the option to change the voltage on the twist. Some juices taste better hotter, and some cooler. Find that sweet spot and you are in heaven.

I started with Kr808s and still use them, but I have picked up the EGO Twist about a month or so ago. With the Twist I have used clearomizers and a vivi nova. The clearomizers are convenient and hold more fluid than the Kr808 cartos so they met the criteria I was looking for when I purchased a twist, but the flavor seems muted to me. The vivi nova cost more but provides better flavor.

Personally, I'd just go with a mod like the Zenesis or ihybrid. They both are affordable and are rebuildable, they both last forever and taste great too.

It seems that it's hard to get a Zenesis? How do you quickly try different juices on a mod like that with a tank?

Two Twists, a charger, a couple of Mini Vivi Novas and some juice is all you need for a good start.

It might be where I am leaning towards.

If I want to try a bunch of liquids, should I use the atty or Vivi Nova/Clearomizer? If I opt for an Stardust V2 only kit (no atty), would I be able to sample liquids?
Use an atty and a drip tip to try a bunch of liquids and save the Vivi Nova/Clearomizer for a main vape so you dont have to clean them out between fluids.

I recommend 2 Twists so you have one to use while the other is charging, and a regular and mini Vivi Nova, the regular for at home and the mini for out and about.

eGo-C Twists (1000 mah) and some of the Vivi Nova tanks are a great start...

I am pretty new too. I went from a Smoov, which is an 808, outgrew those. Now I have 2 1000 mah twists, some stardust clearomizers, and a Vivi Nova. PLEASE just get:

Two or three Twists - 650's are fine if you get three, the 1000's obviously last longer but ARE longer;
Two or three Vivi Novas - "regular" sized 3.5ml version 2.5 or version 3, or "Mini" sized 2ml, I don't care;
Two chargers in case one craps out;
And juice. Lots of juice. Any flavors that sound good.

Optional: a lanyard and a trim ring.

Then just enjoy a very good vape as you explore every other option in the vaposphere. After doing just that, this is what I'm vaping on right now.

YOU. I LOVE YOU.

When you say Twist, do you mean Ego-Twist, Ego-C Twist? What?

I'll keep iHybrid in mind for when I go explore some mods, but it's more the bottom-feeding mods that interest me, it seems.

Hey, I love you too man :)

Yeah, "Twist" = Joyetech eGo-C Twist - the first eGo-class variable-voltage device to come on the scene, a few months ago. Prior to that, going with variable voltage pretty much meant shelling out $60-$200 on a "fancier" device like an Apollo SS VTube, a Buzz Pro 2, a ProVari, a Smoktech VMax, or the like.

Now, you can get the exact same actual vape in a more affordable, more transportable, stealthier, don't care-as-much-if-I-lose-it-or-break-it "form factor"; namely, an eGo-class battery.

I say "exact same actual vape" because ... well, just that - the "actual" vape will be exactly the same, attachment for attachment, on a Twist or on a 24-karat gold plated ProVari, but the latter will give you better battery life, a digital readout, a device that might last your entire life, and has a "wow" factor that's off the charts. But the actual vape will be the exact same, as long as you're staying within the amp limit of the device by using a sensible resistance of coil. On the Twist, that's anywhere between about a 1.8-2 ohm and a 3.0 ohm single coil IMO. It has about a 2.5 amp limit, which is just fine for about anything except trying to push a 1.5 ohm dual coil at high watts.

Volts are volts, ohms are ohms, and amps are amps. The electrons flowing through the coil don't know their device of origin.

Why is it called the eGo-C Twist? Good question. It has to do with the Joyetech eGo-C tank system, but the two need not be related in any way. The Ego-C Twist can be used with a huge array of attachments. It's "just" an eGo-class variable voltage battery. The only one (AFAIK), until the arrival of the kGo VV, which IMO still has a few bugs to work out. For now, just get the Twist and some Vivi's, and vape.

***

If you want a bottom feeder, you can now get VV in a Reo; both the Woodville and the Grand come in VV. But I'd still get the Twists (first), because they're more versatile IMO. Good for just about any occasion, location, or purpose. (If you get invited to a State Dinner or an audience with the Queen, look hard at that 24K gold ProVari - they are nice - (even the non-gold ones).

Well I use standard Ego batteries so I cannot weigh in on those. I can talk about carto's, clearomizers, and tanks. I currently use a top coil ViVi Nova Mini and it works like a dream. The unit is easy to clean up as it breaks down into 6 parts and the atomizer head and wick are replaceable. I also have several Stardust clearomizers (Ego style CE5). They have almost the same features of the Vivi Nova and Vivi Nova mini and are just as easy to maintain. I like them so much I have helped about 6 people move to them and they have not looked back either. As for the tanks other than the ViVi nova or Smok Teck Screw Tank. Most of them use cartomizers with holes on the outer casing and are prone to flooding from what I have seen and experienced. The ViVi Nova and Stardust can flood but usually if you keep the center post dry then you are fine. Oh the Screw Tank is similar to the ViVi Nova just larger capactiy.

I can't encourage you enough to try a Twist at your earliest opportunity. Since you already have the charger and eGo batteries, one is all you need to see what all the fuss with variable voltage is about.

With VV, not only can you dial in the wattage to whatever floats your boat, you can do that with any of the three different resistances of atomizers that come with the Vivi Nova. You simply cannot do that with constant voltage.
