quitting smoking has doen wonders for my lung capacity

i play competitive badminton and just really never noticed the slow decline in lung capacity--getting winded so easily...and the wind took longer to come back.... I just wrote it off to old age--yet i always knew that smoking was slowly killing me as well--well after quitting for 6 weeks... complete reversal!!!!! I can now play more games and get much less winded than before--and it improves every day..

diet and exercise are crucial to improving our energy levels and general well being--i started eating super foods and juicing years ago and it is paying off big time--have not had a cold for over 2 years--i have 0 fatigue and a good energy level.

my advice--start taking walks--increasing distance and pace slowly every day--get treadmill if walking is not convenient

get a good super food to eat every morning--it will provide u with all the nutrition that your body needs--u can still eat some junk but you will find yourself eating less of it. ...

I was active while smoking(about 20 years, 10 a day for the last few years before ecigs but PAD for most of them). I had been biking 5-10 miles per day on street and trails, i was able to notice a huge improvement within a few days in my ability to go faster longer, but it has continued improving slowly even over a year later and i exercise much less currently. So like BKK above said, any sort of exercise you can get will increase and improve blood flow, allowing your lungs to heal faster and deliver oxygen to your blood with less effort. Hope you see some results soon!

I smoked a pack to a pack and a half a day for about 25 years. Before I started vaping I would wake myself up multiple times at night coughing like crazy, have coughing fits in the morning and would be half out of breath after climbing a flight of stairs. I'm now about 3 months smoke free. I already sleep through the night with ease waking up feeling much more rested. I can brush my teeth in the morning without coughing half to death. I don't feel near as winded after climbing a flight of stairs. To me, these 3 benefits alone are reason enough to never go back. If it wasn't for vaping I may never have quit. I'd also like to add that without ECF I may have never been successful with vaping. I don't post much but I do a lot of lurking. This forum has got me past a lot of issues I've had in the last few months. It's nice to see so many people looking out for each other. I appreciate all the info here.
