Another thumbs up for the Phoenix. It was my first rebuildable and is really simple. I rebuilt the first time with silica recycled from an old Vivi Nova head. from there I experimented with cotton and cheesecloth and now stainless steel wicks. I get to vape on something I've had a small hand in building, plus the flavor and ritual of dripping is great. That said, I now use a Cobra clone most of the time. The benefits of a tank and the clean taste of stainless steel wicks. But I still go back to the Phoenix when I get a quiet moment at home.

CJB, is your tank from big daddy polycarbonate or one of the metal ones? If it's not metal, have you ever use a tank that is? The reason I ask is because I already have a liquinator, but many of the flavors I like to vape react poorly with polycarbonate so I feel rather restricted at times. If you, or anyone, could chime in with any opinions you have on polycarbonate tanks versus metal ones that would be great. I know metal tanks are better with certain flavors for sure (because some will crack polycarbonate or become otherwise less vape-able), but I'm more curious about whether or not anyone feels that there is a substantial overall improvement using a metal tank... It is a good deal more expensive.

I'm not sure how I feel about the Vivi Nova, either. That's mostly because it reminds me a lot of a CE2, which I hate with a passion. I'm guessing that's pretty misguided though; it's not that I expect a Nova to be the same as a CE2 tank, but they remind me of one another so much aesthetically that I find myself a bit put off. Otherwise, I have no first-hand experience regarding how the Novas compare to other thanks.

I'm not sure how clear I've been in my other posts about my current set-up... It's a bit had to see the rest of the thread right now because I'm on my phone. I know I mentioned what e-cigs/APVs I have, but just to fill in any blanks, I use the Reo Grand and Provari most often. I drip primarily, and use almost exclusively Avid's Cisco spec atomizers in varying ohms (or I'll put one on my Reo). I used to LOVE Ikenvape, but I had such a horrendous customer service experience with them once, it made me never want to order from IKV again. Besides dripping, I use cartos sometimes... Boge LRs, SMOKTech 1.7 single coils, and LR 801 fusions (with an adapter). Lastly, I use a liquinator sometimes.

So that's what I'm working with now. Basically, I do really enjoy dripping but I get tired of it now and then and it can be super inconvenient. I like cartos, but not enough enough to make them my primary method of vaping. I love my Reo am not crazy about how the box-shape feels in my hand and I also really like the flexibility of the VV Provari... However, I am not quite in the market for a VV bottomfeeder yet. :/

I use the Vision Vivi Nova. Both sizes. The thing I love is the ease of use and I can see how much liquid I have in them. The heads (coils and wicks) are easily replaceable or rebuildable. Super easy to clean and dry burn.

A tip for nova users: Polident does a great job on cleaning the heads. Soak a few hours and they are almost as good as new on old heads as long as they aren't gunked up too badly. I use this method about every other cleaning or so depending on how the coils and wicks look. Some juices are harder on heads than other juices.

Ive been using denture tabs too. I saw a post about someone using it. It really does work wonders. Cleans and disinfects. Especially if using cotton wicks that cant be dry burned, gets more life out of them. I use efferdent but Im sure Polydent is just as good. I just chose the best deal of that day on amazon. Have you noticed a difference in Polydent Vs Efferdent? Just curious if one is better.

I just bought what they had at the store. I had heard Polident, so I went with that choice. Love the way it works. ;)

One of many good places to check out new and exciting juice delivery devices (JDD's) is DiscountVapers.com
Clearomizers seem to be the latest and greatest and then all the new rebuildable atomizers seem to be very popular.
I'm not into them, yet, but lots of folks are.

I, personally, love the CE3's.They are small, only hold about 1.3 mls of juice. I have some Kanger T-3's ordered. They hold about 2.5 mls of juice. Both have the coil in the bottom. I like a cooler vape so the bottom coil works for me.

Good luck on finding something to keep it exciting for you.

Have you tried the big CE3 tanks? I love them better than even the T3

No I haven't. Read a few not so glowing words on them so decided to skip them and just go with the T-3's. Hope I like them when I get them. Got them through a co-op. Takes a bit longer that way but couldn't pass up the price :)

Had a bad time with T3 heads. Bad contacts, wiggle pin a little and the coil lead to the contact simply breaks. I had 3 going bad on me in barely 12 days. Many people vape CE3 tanks with the sleeve on, and they don't take that much air and simply burn. Did the mod Lord Devon explained in his video and I'm done.

Most probably I'll give T3 another try when I get heads from another vendor, but to tell you the straight truth, CE3 tanks are less fussy than T3. Maybe I got a bad batch.

I vaped for two years before finally quitting the last few cigs. What helped me decide was making the decision that I wanted to give them up. I started vaping a hit here and there when I would smoke. I'd have my ecig in one hand and a cig in the other. Every 2 or 3 hits from the cig, I'd vape and compare. I decided the the ecig tasted better and the cig tasted nasty.

When I quit, there was no withdrawal and it was a non event. Once you get to just a few a day, it's really not a big deal to drop the last few. The difference in what you get from a cig is more nicotine and a dose of MAOIs. The MAOI causes your brain to decrease the rate at which dopamine is destroyed (a natural cycle), so you get that relaxed feeling when you smoke. Nicotine gives you the same effect, but it goes away quickly. That's why we use our ecigs as pacifiers. We have to renew the MAOI effect more often than we do with tobacco.

When you feel the cigarette urge coming on, huff and puff a little heavier on the ecig for a minute or so. It will go away.

This link explains the tobacco effect.
This is your brain on nicotine
