I was prompted to make this thread after seeing Oberon75's pic in another thread.

As I'm sure you other Atlantis owners have noticed, after awhile, the seal that is on the base of the Atlantis starts to turn yellow. Obviously this can't be avoided, but what can be done to get it back to white again?

Love the look when it's new :)

This happened with my nautilus too, FWIW.

Mine base gaskets are all still as white as new, replace it with a new one or remove it from the base and wash it, better yet stop using colored juices.

I wash my tank on a more than regular basis, never helps it though. I have been taking many precautions from the moment I started using my Atlantis, with no results.

Hmm.. I've had my Nautilus for about a year now. I wash it about every 2 weeks.. no extra precautions and its not as yellow as yours is. I've had juice that turned amber/brown and it only turned slightly yellow (more like a dull white).

I wash mine several times a week! I just run the standard higher end juices that everyone else does?

Bump for any other insight (forgot about my thread!)

'Higher end' juices can contain artificial colorants too.
Any flavorings that are know to degrade plastics can also stain or degrade many of the soft parts in any delivery device. Many of the seals / gaskets that resist degradation are susceptible to staining.
I believe Aspire sells parts & pieces.

FTR - didn't at all mean that said juices would be free of colorants :)
