Reusing VG Bottle? Cleaning Help!

I just ordered a gallon of VG from wizard labs and I have an almost empty 250ml of VG from them as well. What would be the best way in cleaning out this bottle to put new VG in? Distilled Water?

One more question what would be the best way to pour the vg into the bottle since the VG is pretty thick?

VG is very soluble in water so cleaning the bottle with water would work great. Just dry the bottle out afterwards and you are good to go. Heating up VG by setting it in a warm place like a window sill in the sun will make it pour very easily. Setting it in a sink of hot water works good too.

I bought a gallon of PG&VG also, but from Essential Depot. I decided to put them each in four seperate, one quart glass mason jars. While VG is thicker than PG it pours just fine without having to heat it up (at room temperature). I think you are overthinking this, just open the gallon and pour it into your clean jar.

Edit. As for the cleaning of the old bottle. Soap and water will work just fine, give it a good rinse and dry. Just like hand washing dishes.

I also bought a gallon each of PG and VG from essential and just have them sitting in the fridge unopened. When it comes time to use them I'll just rinse out my 250 ml bottles with warm tap water, dry them and refill them then re-bottle the rest and freeze em.

what is the benefit of keeping them in the refrigerator? Is it a must? I keep the pg/vg/nic I have in my toolbox of diy stuff

No just helps with long term storage. Keep the nic out of the sunlight and heat and you will be fine

I put emphasis on the rinse because if they are plastic containers, they can hold the fragrance of the soap and the slowly release it later. So I would rinse really well and then smell them to make sure.

I wouldn't even use soap on the inside. Really hot water will do the trick. Unless you like to vape Dawn.
