Reverse Laser Mod

So somebody's had to have thought of this already but the only results I can pull up with a search are the laser mods like Cisco's.

Couldn't there be a "reverse laser mod" where there is a small laser sitting inside a 510 atomizer housing? Then when traveling or what not we just attach our laser atty and when we need to show it off it's a fully functional laser. Seems like it might be a nice accessory.

I say 510 cuz it's my favorite but I guess really it could be any atomizer.

That's a pretty cool idea, actually -- attach a laser or flashlight "atomizer" to the battery, either for stealth or extra utility. I think I'll put a laser module or two in my next order from DX.

i dont blame the OP for posting here... i think just like the new button idea steve could see a point in developing a laser attachment that is branded... that would be something the people out there that dont prefer the puresmoker products could come to the website for...

yup, exactly the reason I posted here, I love PS! everything just works. A nice stainless steel laser attachment would fit my protege perfectly.

As for the LED, right idea but don't really see the purpose for it on my protege... the protege already looks like a laser pointer to me. All that battery case for a lil LED seems a bit off to me. Besides $14 for an LED attachment that mimics the functionality of something I just got for free with my BatteryJunction order (with my protected battery order they sent me a free ultra bright LED key chain that's just a tad bigger than a quarter).

I just had an email last week for a chinese company that has laser pointers and led flashlights that screw in to the 510 manual. They also offer a 510 package that has a solar charger!

you laugh, but what are you going to do if the sh** hits the proverbial fan in 2012 and access to electricity becomes a rare luxury

or what if you lived in california or new york when they had week-long+ rolling blackouts

my father has installed a solar array on his roof with a dozen huge batteries in preparation for such scenarios, so I'll still be able to recharge my e-cigs and get my nic fix for years after the coming apocalypse 8-o

there are solar usb chargers on the market. they also could prove handy on extended hiking or camping trips as an alternative to pre-charging and carrying dozens of charged batteries

if $#!t hits the fan in 2012 (like the old school calenders say) its game over period solar powered PV's aren't gonna do anything. and if something horrible were to happen like we get blasted with rays from the sun that whipe out electronics guess what... solar panels go boom too.

i still think solar powered flashlights are a joke.
