The passthrough will work but there is no indication when its charged unless you make sure they stay in there for 3-4 hrs. If you can mod the 401 charger it will work. You should just get a charger, get one that fits multiple battery sizes this way it could be used for other battery mods...

I have two batteries, one in my passthrough and another I bought as an extra.
Do you feel the passthrough will charge the battery significantly (use it as a charger) or should I invest in another charger (not sure how long the passthrough takes to charge it - no LED)? Being the passthrough has a bad switch (works every 2nd or third try) it is pretty useless right now.
Might just scavenge the connector but I have a 401 USB charger that will work as far as a connector. Hum, maybe I can use the 401 USB charger as an acutal charger with modifications of course. What do you think?
