After much anticipation my Bloog Maxx Fusion deluxe kit arrived. Took about 6 days from the time I placed the order til I received it today (standard shipping). I opened the box, put it together and within 3 mins tried my very first e-cig. I normally smoke kamel light 99's so thought I would start off by trying the Reds 6mg and Kamel 11mg carts.

The Kamel 11mg were smooth and seemed to have a slight grape aftertaste to them, not bad at all, but think I will continue trying new flavors out. Next were the Reds 6mg. These actually seemed stronger than the 11mg kamel and tasted more like a regular tobacco cigarette, not what I'm used to, but not bad either.

I dont know if it was because Im not used to smoking the e-cig, because its an automatic and perhaps not "hitting" it properly yet, or the level of nictotine, but I felt pretty lightheaded soon after.

What was strange to me (being a smoker) was that I just kept....smoking/vaping, guess I just became used to the "length of time" of a cigarette. The not having to ash and put out in an ashtray will take some getting used to as well, just habit. Normally I would have smoked about 10 cigs since my kit arrived and Ive only smoked 3. The 2 main reasons why I purchased the e-cig was to save money in the long run and eventually quite analogs altogether.

Overall I would give it an 8.5/10 its everything I expected, the inital invest wasnt too bad for the quality of product and since Im used to smoking 100's the length did not bother me. Of course its going to be heavier than a cigarette because of the battery so that was expected and still not as "heavy" as I thought it would be. My only complaint is the TH (throat hit), maybe it's the amount of nicotine, maybe its the flavor of carts I opted for or that its an automatic not a manual? I'm getting a good amount of vapor though!

Definitely recommended, especially for a first time e-cig.

Congrats, glad it's working for you. So many people try an ecig, find it's not exactly like an analog, and give up.

re: continuous vaping. The nicotine uptake from an ecig is slower than it is from an analog, so you're not getting the instant gratification you would from regular tobacco smoke. This might be why you're getting light headed too. All the nic is hitting you at once. It's also a hell of a lot more enjoyable (imo), so you might just want to keep vaping away.

Thanks, yeah Ive been thinking about if for a while now (close to a year) and really glad Ive made the switch, even if I'm not completely off my regular smokes just yet (only the first day).

That makes sense, all the nicotine hitting me at once. Ive been switching off between the 2 different flavors/lvls of mg and have not noticed that lightheaded feeling again. Only noticed it for the first hour or two.

Here's a couple stories you'll enjoy.
Once or twice, when I first started vaping, I picked a lighter up from the top of my desk and almost lit the end of my kr808.
I also tried ashing it out the window of my van a couple times. {LOL}

Good luck in all your future vaping endeavors!

Congrats on your purchase...as auto batts go, I've heard great things about Bloog!

If you want to increase TH, I'd definitely start with the nicotine level of your juice...I personally use 24mg, which is actually rough for most analog users (I have a "Marlboro Red" friend that got beat up by taking a hit of Boba's Bounty from my eGo...lol), but definitely perfect for me, considering the nature of the juice itself: as a PG-free juice, TH is generally diminished, but the vapor production is out of this world; so I up the nic level for my tastes.

As for vapor production, you'll find those on the forum who could give two whips whether or not their PV showed any vapor; as for me, I like the "report" you get from the vapor (it tells me it's 'working,' I guess...hehehe.

YMMV, of course, but no matter...you've taken your first steps toward an analog-free existence, did it without spending an exorbitant amount at the local smoke shop, and picked up a wonderful product given your great review.

Kudos, and good luck!
