***Review***

Like I said earlier, I got this the beginning of October with the S3 and while I ran the S3 for a week or so, wasn't really a fan. This X3 however, is a completely different beast. It's got the touchscreen which is kind of finicky to get working right if you're like me and have a klutz element to you. But once you do, it's flawless. It's flavor with the .15ohm coil is top notch surprisingly and the clouds are pretty solid too. The fact you can use an 18650 ***or*** 21700 is phenomenal too. I used both for this review and I found myself much preferring the 21700 as it just seems to work better with the larger battery. Another thing that is awesome, is the battery compartment. It has a button on the outside (non screen side) of the vape that unlocks the battery compartment . You push down and it slides the whole front of the vape down and you put the battery inside it and slide it back up until it clicks. Truly a neat concept considering how some vapes are just magnetic which can wear out over time. I honestly have very few gripes about this pod kit, which is shocking considering the fact I usually detest pod kits as they seem to be a dime a dozen. This kit however, is truly a different beast and I definitely see myself using it out in the field very frequently. My gripes are that the touch screen can be very finicky at times and doesn't always unlock/lock when you want/need it to. I found it unlocking while in my pocket occasionally, which ain't a bad thing but, when it unlocked, it would also wind up changing the wattage which was kind of pissing me off. That said still a solid vape.

***Verdict***

If you're looking for an innovative (***FINALLY***) pod kit, look no further cause VOOPOO has ya covered. I give this kit a solid 8.5/10. I say that because it is very finicky when it unlocks in your pocket. Still will daily this kit though.

***DRAG S3***

Here we have the new S3, released simultaneously alongside it's external battery brother. It's an okay kit performance wise, but not anything to write home about really aside from the fact it runs, in my testing, 32% longer than a similar sized internal battery pod kit. That and the aesthetics are very nice. It is more of an MTL kit as it's only 60W max and not 80W like its big brother, the X3.

***Review***

I got this S3 the same day as the X3, and ran it fir about a week, maybe less. It's solid built like the X3, but is a normal screen, which is a win for the S3 as it's more "old school". It also lasts, in my testing, 32% longer than a similar internal battery pod kit. Which is also a win as they (VOOPOO) claim an increase of 25%. It's flavor is actually pretty good, but it being geared toward MTL was a let down for me. Although not a killer, it still underperforms in other areas like charging and clouds. It does take slightly longer to charge compared to my Vinci E120. The clouds are of course, personal preference as it's more of an MTL kit and not DTL. All that aside, the aesthetics are much more intricate than that of the X3, which is shocking considering it's also smaller.

***Verdict***

Overall, if you're looking for a great middle ground device (RDL) then this is for y'all. It's probably more on the MTL end of RDL, but still worth checking out if you want to get going toward DTL, but aren't ready to dive head first into the deep end of the DTL pool. I give the S3 a 6.5/10. Mostly because of personal preference, but also because it takes a bit to charge and it just is a bit fumbly with getting to the menus.
