I did receive these products free for the purpose of reviewing. That being said it in no way influences my opinion of these products.
I want to say thanks to Justin and the folks over at Alloy Blends, LLC for sending me six of their e liquid flavors for review. The one of the six flavors I got was Lustor which I have reviewed before. The remaining five flavors are Crucible, Vented, Blonde, Fracture and Velocity. All are 6mg strength and I am not sure of the exact pg/vg ratio. All the e liquids are semi thick which makes me think they are a higher VG ratio. They arrived very quickly in a padded postal envelope safe and sound. All the samples I received came in small glass bottles with eye droppers in each. Customer service seems like a very big thing at Alloy Blends, LLC.
All flavors were vaped on a dripping atomizer running at o.2 ohms and a mechanical mod with a freshly charged battery. I can easily say all the flavors can and do stand up to the higher heat very well.
We will start with the Crucible. From Alloy Blends, LLC they describe it as "Rich, bold and sophisticated, this is a very smooth and full bodied creamy vanilla cappuccino blend".
Next is the Vented. From Alloy Blends, LLC they describe it as "A very complex earthy and balanced mix, it is a light well blended vanilla tobacco".
Then there is Blonde. From Alloy Blends, LLC they describe it as "Vanilla custard that is refined to be slightly sweet, very rich and smooth, the perfect vanilla and custard combo".
Then we have Fracture. From As Alloy Blends, LLC they describe it as "Vey creamy, true to life peanut butter flavour, expertly blended for extra smoothness and complexity".
And last but not least the Velocity. From Alloy Blends, LLC they describe it as "Mixed apple blend with other underlying notes throughout. Crafted as an indulgent rich taste of dutch apple fritter".
All of the flavors smelled true to the descriptions from Alloy Blends, LLC.
On the initial taste of all the flavors tasted great right out of the vape mailbox. All of these flavors in my opinion are the kind of flavors that will just continue to get better with steeping.
Here are the results after 2 weeks of steeping time.
Crucible. The throat hit from this e liquid is very light. Just how I like it from a 6 mg, higher VG ratio. This is a wonderful flavor e liquid. It is so well blended. On the inhale I get the very nice vanilla with the cappuccino in the back ground. Then on the exhale it switched and the cappuccino came to the front with the vanilla taking a back seat. If you enjoy the vanilla cappuccino from the star place this could easily be an ADV. As far as the vapor production goes I got very nice thick dense clouds with this one. It is going on the reorder list.
Vented. The throat hit from this flavor is also very light but like I said this is my thing. The flavor on this one is very nice. I now I say this about most of Alloy Blends e liquids but this one is so well blended like all of their e liquids. It makes it hard to pick out the individual flavors. With that being said the vanilla is very smooth on the inhale along with the light tobacco in there as well. I would like to have seen just a bit more of the tobacco in this one. But very nice as it is. Plenty of vapor production on this one. This is the type of vape for me to be an ADV. Instead of cigars and brandy in the rose garden it is Vented and brandy in the rose garden after dinner! And yes it's on the top of the reorder list.
Blonde. The throat hit on this e liquid is very light as expected. The flavor....ahhhh the flavor! Custards and tobaccos are my two favorite flavors and this is a very good custard. It starts out on the inhale as a very nice and enjoyable vanilla custard. This is not an over eggy custard but just the right amount balance of sweetness and vanilla custard. Then the exhale I get all those flavors with not one standing out over the others. As far as the vapor production goes it is very rich and dense. This is an all day vape! And definitely on the reorder list.
Fracture. The throat hit is light for this one too. The flavor on this e liquid is very nice and very well blended. It is a nice complex flavor. I for sure taste the smooth creamy peanut butter. It is a very accurate peanut butter I have had some that try this flavor but most miss it. Alloy Blends has hit it spot on! This e liquid also produces very nice vapor as does all of Alloy Blends offerings. Even though this is not an ADV for me it is enjoyable for a nice change of pace for me. I keep going back to it over and over. Reorder list? Yes.
Velocity. The throat hit is again light just right for me. The flavor of this e liquid is complex and delicious. On the smell of this e liquid I just get a hint of apples and a hint of the fritter. On the inhale I get the best apple blend I have ever had. To me sometimes apple flavors are too sweet or to tart or to candy. This one is just like a good blend of true apple flavor. I get the tart as well as the sweet apple taste in just the best way. On the exhale is where the dutch apple fritter makes its appearance. I don't know if the apple fritters I used to get at the donut shop are dutch apple fritters but this flavor is just that exactly. In this flavor the apple is so good and the dutch fritter is great as well and they are joined oh so well. The vapor production again is great as are all of Alloy Blends flavors. I think could become one of my ADV's. Oh yes a place on the reorder list for this one for sure.
Lustor. The throat hit is light on this e liquid. I have reviewed this flavor before. Just to recap this was my first flavor from Alloy Blends. I enjoyed this flavor very much. But I said I tasted the custard in this one but the guys at Alloy Blends that there was no custard in this flavor. Well I still think I taste custard, but after reading the description I do get the waffle cone and fresh cream in this flavor. And I enjoy the sweetness and desert flavor I get out of it as well. Like all the rest of their flavors vapor production is rich and dense from my set up. This is a flavor I would keep on hand for the relaxing vape in the evening after dinner. Yep on the reorder list here too.
All of the Alloy Blends I have tried are able to stand up to the heat of my build very well. I must admit I have enjoyed all the flavors that were sent for review. The only problem I had with any of these flavors was, that as I dripped them to review I had to clean my dripper after words to change flavors. I must also admit, I didn't, I would enjoy the flavor until it was gone then clean and change flavors.
I just want to thank Justin and the crew at Alloy Blends, LLC for the chance to review some of their e liquid. Keep up the good work over there all.
