Hi all,
Being a new member I unfortunately see no other possible way than to post this in this thread. It probably belongs in this thread. But... I'm just too excited in order not to share my recent triumph of rewicking a stardust with a cotton wick.
So, in short, taste and vapor are far superior to the default wicking material used in 'stock' cartos and I honestly can't believe vendors are not offering cotton as an 'option'. I hope they'll catch on soon, or if someone can point out for me what the drawbacks of this would be.
Long story short - A cotton wick in a stardust makes for a truly stellar performer
I'll make sure to post a in-depth tutorial tomorrow!
All the best,
Michael
P.S. I do not claim that any of the above is considered 'safer' than using standard wicks or for that matter, safe at all. Modding is done at your own risk. I, like many others, just make educated guesses and can not be held responsible if something bad were to happen to you or anyone else as a result of using the information and ideas supplied above.
