nimbus drip atomizer

FINALLY i have purchased the nimbus atomizer today after seeing all the crazy videos online. But now that i have it in my hand im not sure how to set it up correctly to make myself into a breathing dragon.

1. Is there a difference between silica wicks and cotton wicks?
2. What gauge wires should i use? Using 30 gauge currently with double wick silica 3/4 wraps, double looped silica wick. Reading at .7 ohms.
3. Should i get lower nic juice? Noticed it gets really harsh after puffing a couple hits.
4. My nimbus heats up really quick just after a couple puffs maybe like 5 consecutively. Should it heat up that quick?

I am using the Gus Telescopic v2 right now on my nimbus.
Really desperate to find out what the correct set up is to hit the nimbus.

I don't know anything about the Nimbus but your questions relate to all rebuildables.

1) Yes. Silica will last longer than cotten but will mute flavor. Cotton burns very fast so you can't dry burn it but flavor is much better.
2) The wire gauge and number of wraps depends on the ohms you want. That might be something you'll have to experiment with but .7 ohms is way too low for most mods. I don't know how many amps the Gus can safely use but I think .9 ohms is about the lowest recommended for most mods.
3) Lowering your nic and or PG will help with the harshness also lowering the voltage. Drink lots of water.
4) I think it's heating up fast because your atty resistance is too low and your mod is having to over work.
