RH Killer Clone

I'm getting pretty good at wrapping coils with silica wicks. I have successfully built a kayfun Lite, Ithaka clone, and an igo w.

This killer clone is driving me bonkers though. It took me forever to get my NR wire through the holes on the side. It took me forever to get my wire to fit underneath the ceramic cup to hook up to the positive post.

After all of that, it now appears I have a short! Ugh I just want to stomp on this thing over and over again!

I know what you mean! I got my Killers the other day with my Hercules. I had already picked out the perfect tank for them (a Rapid tank) and was anxious to get started. They seem very well built, but using the tiny ceramics and getting them to fit on the post with the wire trapped in it was a MAJOR PITA! Finally got it all set-up, no shorts, but performance is severely lacking. I may try again once more before this set-up hits the classies. Maybe someone else would have better luck. And it's not an issue of using the NR-R build, because the Herc is rocking away with a dual coils .75Ω build as we speak! Love the Herc, but the Killer's just might not be my cup-o-tea, unfortunately.
