A few of the brothers asked me about my take on the RIBBON Kanthal, I only had what was setup by Curry so no joy. Stuff came in a days back so here is my take.

Atty : QZI minigenesis
mod : GP picollo
Resistance : 0.9 ohms
Coil used : 0.5 * 0.1 Kanthal D, ribbon.
juice : 70/ 30 PG/VG RY4 12mg

The ribbon was a little on the springy side. Other then that everything else went as usual with the Petar K method. Zapping was easy though I did burst 2 coils, it was more of an issue of familiarity than lack of quality.

The vape seems to be very "dispersed". As such the high taste separation expected of genesis style RBAs is even more profound. Bad for base note lovers, good for top note people. Heavy flavored juice gets a surprising twist. Initially with Curry's ribbon I felt the "thumpy" kind of TH. Subsequently with normal kanthal, I did not feel it. Now its coming back! Vapor? Self explanatory with photo.

I think this is not the setup for everybody. If using juice not steeped long enough, or with some funny tones, you just might get too much of a "funk" out of it. TH is excellent and so is vapor. But caution. It does bring out the "HIGH DRAW" in power RBAs. Drinks juice like a Lambo Diablo drinks petrol.
