Nice man. That .9 shown includes .2 internal resist. I expect it to be .6-.7 once mounted. Cant wait for mine to arrive. I'm sure the pictures do it no justice!

Well, I'll tell you a secret, I was unaware of that DT until you said something, and i had to google image it. After doing so, I found out yes, it is close.

So I had to have this. I'm thinking i put my classic 2/3 wrap 0.7 ohm (sweet spot) on it. I'm just conflicted on what juice I want to put in there.

How frikk'in AWESOME is that !!!? Yepper !! I am truly feeling special this year for my anniversary... Funny how, its just another day to most of my family, (except my kids).... But total strangers who have never met me or known me a day in their lives, have managed to give me the best gifts any vaper could ask for.... I have watched vaping grow over the last 4yrs, not only as a growing industry... but as a growing community. A bunch of EX-Smokers bound together by the hardest thing any smoker can do... QUITTING !! Non smokers will never understand .. Vaping is a healthier alternative & is a lot more than just another way to quit smoking cigarettes. Its a movement, its a community of people with a common goal... To stay off the cigarettes ... What I love the most about vaping & my fellow vapers... Vaping has no color, religion or creed. My Vapor buddies come from all walks of life and from all over. I have friends in Canada now... How cool is that ? My absolute BEST Facebook Friends... are vapers I never met. If someone runs out of ribbon wire or silica, its nothing to drop it in the mailbox or if someone near by looses their only mod at the mall, I have no issues giving up an old mod to keep a vapor buddy from buying cigs. WHY ?? You might ask ? Strangers or not, the feeling in my gut tells me they would do the same, if it were reversed... I "PIF" a Vamo v2 I don't use ...to a newbie I met online a couple of weeks ago... Like me, she suffered a stroke but still couldn't quit smoking & didn't have the money to buy a mod after getting scammed into paying $80 on a set of fake Ego batts & $20 on 15ml bottles of ejuice she got from a vape store near her.... She said good things would come my way for teaching her about vaping via telephone & Skype & sending her the mod after 1 of her Ego batts stopped working... I knew she was right, but I didn't know, just how good it would be ... Thanks guys for the best Anniversary ever.... Dang !!! I love All Things Vaping....(smile'in) Especially the people...

YESSS !!!! That is my "Sweet Spot" too... Well I go for the 2/3 wrap with 28g kanthal & that puts me btwn .6 - .8 ohms ...
But 6 or 7 is heaven for me ... Some 18mg Snicker Doodle ... Aww Mann Sweet Bliss... But I do wish I could find some Watermelon or Apple Jolly Rancher... AnyHoo..I keep watching videos about hybrid mods, but I'm trying to figure out how to measure ohms on a hybrid? Would you take the atty part off & place the leads from a multimeter on the center pin/post & use the side of it as ground ? (smh) Its gotta be this cheap #@%&! ...$5 meter I got from Harbor Freights...? Let me find a descent but reasonable multimeter online.... grrr I need some 26g kanthal... I've gone higher than 28g 30g, 32g & 34g... I just want to try a lower gauge wire for some micro coills or somedual coils..
But of course my go to wire is 28g or .5mm ribbon, but I have mostly mechanical mods....

Mis: you don't need to take apart the mod. just touch the positive lead to the positive screw and the negative to the negative screw.
Just keep in mind that most multimeters have an internal resistance themselves. touch the pos to the neg lead (tip to tip) and wait for the reading. That will be the internal resistance. So if your meter gives you an internal reading of .1Ω, then you build your coil on your hybrid and it reads 1.1Ω. You subtract the .1Ω internal from that, so your mounted coil is actually 1.0Ω
If it is an auto-zeroing meter, touch the leads together until it shows the internal resistance, then zero's itself. Once it zero's, then touch the pos and neg on the mod and what you see is what you get.

I just came from finishing up some last minute shopping & I think everybody including their family, friends & pests are all at Walmart...grrrr...lol I am so tired ....Maybe its just me, but I don't remember my mother spending so much money on school..? A mead 5 subject note book... filled with BLANK pages costs more than a gallon of gas, milk, bread & a newspaper combined...What part of the game is that ?? Pros
Threading and build quality is nice
Finish on mine is even and has that nice feel the atty did before it
Free drip tips are always good
The button is pretty nice though I thought it would be horrible before I put the battery in
Stands unlocked without firing
The atty is exactly what I like, single coil and with a post/screw for the positive. It's an easy set up
The reduced chamber does it's job, you get lots of vapor/flavor even at a low wattage
The contacts also do their job, she puts out
Cap fit is nice, also the raised deck wall seemed to solve the juice leaking issue.
Works with a kick 2 just fine
Cons
The lock ring was not the smoothest out of the box, two minutes of locking and unlocking and it's fine. Probably not going to be an issue with polished ones, I've had the same thing on matte mods twice the price.
The lock ring is big. Not a big deal but I am nitpicking so deal with it.
The logo and serial on the button are not looking like they will last too long
Would have liked a kick ring/18500 extension to all 18500's along and kick's with 18350's or 18650's

The fit and finish I didn't compare to things twice the price as that wouldn't be fair so while it is nice be mindful of the context which is it's price range.
I set it up simple with 325 mesh and 4 wraps of 30g Kanthal as I am not a big genny user so I don't have ss rope or whatever the hot new item is hanging around.
So all in all it's a hell of a mod for 124.99. The atty is a huge improvement and the mod itself is pretty nice. I bought this over a pure (I actually had the chance to buy one right around when this pre-order opened up) and I don't regret it. It's a bit more versatile and I like steel things.
Also, if the new version of the atty has the same design, it's going to be a steal at 30-40 bucks.
I would also like to mention that Rich took a lot of the suggestions people made in this thread regarding the atty and applied them to this mod's atty. I have nothing but respect for that and working to get decent stuff out at a price most folks can attain it at.
