so while watching the news i saw Richmond CA wants to ban e cigs and treat it like analogs..This really has me ...... on how the media portrays e cigs like a drug. The medias only comment against it is that young people are using it. Im ...... because e cigs helped me quit smoking and better my lifestyle and that is what the media isn't showing. outlawing it will only make things worse. As kids when our elders tell us not to do something what do we do? the thing they told us not to do right. Just like making ......... illegal w/o knowing the real facts and just assuming things this is what is happening to e cigs..we all have to stand up to these outrageous allegations and e mail your local tv station/politician and tell them how it helps us. we cant let this happen it has changed so many lives and gave us more time to live by the means of not smoking....

I'm sorry, but I don't have a problem with this.

I was not inconvenienced by the various smoking laws that were enacted and I have no problem complying with smoking laws while vaping. In fact I voluntarily do not vape anywhere smoking is not allowed.

If your civil rights are being stomped on by such laws, say the word and I will be there with you to protest. Until then...

Part of this is that big tobacco needs the younger people to start smoking. They have a product, they are out for profit. I think that the younger generation moving on to vaping is seriously putting a dent in their future profits. It has come out in documents over the decades that they are aware of the addictive properties of their product, and the younger they get you started, the more money they can make off of you. Don't think for a minute that they do not consider this in their board meetings.

Big tobacco, therefore, will equate vaping to smoking, and demonize it every chance they get.

This world revolves around maximizing profits at any cost. Period. That's the unspoken rule of the bottom line, and it sucks. It's what causes the huge gap in social stratification, and what causes big business to buy media corporations. The news you get is the news that the corporations want you to get, and it always has profit as a motive.
