First off, none of us were born knowing how to Vape and the longest
standing member on this or any other forum had to learn. We can and do learn and benefit from the wealth of knowledge available on this forum but I think most of the long term members learned by trial and error. I love the advice they give so I don’t have to make expensive mistakes. Makes us smart for asking, not stupid. I would have spent a lot of $ on the latest new thing if I hadn’t listened to good advice.
I second this opinion OP! Bravo on your wise decision to start vaping and come to ecf where you will get answers- and there is no such thing as a stupid question EVER! We are here and most of us are more then willing to help you however we can! I would hazard a guess that it's not smoking that is a social activity, it's the best most social people that smoke, or in the case of retired smoking vapers we are the most social nice folks on the planet.
I would hazard a guess you got a dud coil, or a dud box maybe since you say you have changed coils about five times. Try another coil, if that doesn't work, check the authenticity of your new box, if the next one still won't work get a new box. Make sure all coils are screwed down tight and correctly threaded ie going straight into the threaded base.
Also helpful would be to try another tank setup to verify your mod is fine, it may be the 510 connections usually on the mod got pushed down. Btw you should clean your connectors about every week with q tips and rubbing alcohol every week to keep them in good order. Before you mess with the connections always turn your mod off. If the pin is pushed down and not connecting to your tank, work to raise it very gently by using needle nose pliers, tweezers or go around the edge with a bent paper clip to gently raise it a bit.
So paint to check are coil, mod and connection. One of those will likely be your problem. Welcome to vaping, these little things are all easy to solve once you know how to identify your problem!
