Argus GT may not have boost circuitry (meaning voltage output is capped at battery's voltage at any given time, mod will not allow booting above battery voltage). That is what I have gathered from the little research I did of the Argus GT. Unfortunately, this is the case for too many Voopoo mods these days. To me, that is a crappy way for a manufacturer to save money. Most of today's youtube reviewers don't mention when a mod lacks boost circuitry because 99% of them don't really test the mods or check for that sort of thing like Phil Busardo used to, they just vape them and tell you "hey, this thing vapes, it's a good mod". lol. They aren't really reviewers, they are demonstrators. If this bothers you, do more research to find out if in fact is has or lacks boost circuitry before you buy it.
Same goes for Drag S, Drag X and Drag X Plus - no boost circuitry.
You might want to look into a different brand than Smok or Voopoo, but if that's all I had to choose from, I would go with the Smok X-priv, which does have boost circuitry. But that's just me.
