I was very saddened to hear Phyllis passed away yesterday at 95 years of age. I have six of her vinyl albums from the 50s and 60s and will occasionally listen to them all over again. Unlike just about all of her "peers", she never resorted to profanity. Check out her autobiography "Like A Lampshade In A Whorehouse" for a light and enlightening read.
