To be honest I've lost faith in most all the established "big names" simply because they lost what made them good, IMO.

They were good because they were approaching everything from our side, the normal vaper. Not as an "industry person" Now that the shift has taken place they are company men. I'm not going to accuse them of no longer being honest, but their perspective simply doesn't match the perspective of an average vaper. When you have a garage stuffed full of free stuff, relationships with manufacturers and vendors, a loyal horde of vapers following you, you simply are not going to be coming from the same place as you used to be. Either consciously or subconsciously.

A good example would be Phil's new provari vid, obviously he is privy to a lot of information he doesn't share, because the manufacturer doesn't want him to. Now, say he were to come along that information through other means, he still isn't likely to share it, where as not having a connection with a company there is no reason to avoid talking about subjects that interest vapers. Just using this as an example to show potential conflicts of interest that come up when it comes to this type of thing.

I don't blame them at all, it is what it is. Additionally, with the amount of time they've been in the game, and the opportunities they have to learn the really fine points of this stuff, they mostly all still make some pretty obvious mistakes when it comes to rebuilding, things related to circuits, machining, etc. I'm not talking about preferring a method or product I dislike, I mean they say things that are not factual and rarely get called on it (unless it's grim, he definitely gets called on it)

Hopefully that doesn't come off too negative, I have absolutely nothing against any reviewers as people, the whole youtube vid thing just seems to have lost nearly all it's credibility IMHO. You can find far more thorough and accurate information on forums.

So what do you guys think of rip trippers and his reviews??

Idk I dont think he is a bad dude but still hiding a bunch of details from his reviews! Why not be open lol?

But he is a funny dude and very very informative which is why I watch him over the other guys

Rip= crazy but tons of knowledge

Vapping twisted 420= funny as hell but not much knowledge

Grim= a werido!!

what you guys think?

Rip Trippers seems like a nice guy, but he annoys me trying to be too weird. If you're looking for clone reviews you won't really find any, he's really against clones. That doesn't bother me though.

Vaping Twisted 420 also seems like a nice guy, but also seems like he doesn't know too much yet, and many or most of his reviews are just on clones.

Grim, I never heard of him.

Between Rip Trippers and Twisted, I'd trust Rip more,, but at the same time that's just one person's opinion and I would consider my vaping style a lot different then his so it doesn't really have an effect of my decisions, unless he says a RDA or RTA is a PITA to build, since that guy does a lot of coil building.

Yeah I am not sure what that means either because other than coil building the products are ptetty much no different from any of the reviewers lol

Rips clouds do look bigger than everyone's else's but its just the camera angle and lighting

Twisted doesn't really know how to blow clouds or have the right setup to do them, he even had a video trying to do them and in his comments was receiving tips from youtube members, Rip Trippers does have a better camera and lighting in his video and seems more experienced and might just be using the right technique, since technique is a big part of it, but many people out there have no idea what that is and all the little things that makes huge clouds.

Am I the only person that likes "suck my mod" videos?

Definitely not, if you were they wouldn't keep making videos. I only seen 2 of their videos, and the guy is kinda boring IMO and his opinions doesn't match my vaping style, so I don't watch him. It's funny the only other video I watched I think he said he was boring and people watch his videos because they think he has a hot girlfriend.
