I rarely start threads, I am an observer for the most part but I thought this should have its own place.:)

I wrote Buzz last night and told him what I liked and disliked of this beta unit and he told me to share the letter with the forum. Names have been changed to protect the innocent!!!:thumb:

Hey Mike,

I am going to get this stuff down while it is fresh in my mind.........praise and criticism are interspersed, sorry about that!:)

1. I'm sure you know you need a better dial, wider and easier to move, a little tighter in the case.

2. I dislike the firing button's size, I think about a 1/4" diameter would be better.

3. I love how it is ambidextrous.

4. The bottle thing works well; a click-in cover might be better than magnets, I hate how they wear out in some mods.

5. I would like it to flash when fully charged.

6. If you are going to have a 901 connection (I like 901s so its all good for me!) I think having a drip shield option would be a good selling point. At least a catch cup would be a good idea.

7. Like other feeder mods, extra bottle and tubing with each one would be a plus.

8. I'm a heavy vaper, I got about 7 hours from a charge using it about 80% of the time.

9. I blew two LR attys in the first half hour ; using a standard one no problems, consistent taste. I'm a dumbass for trying the LR attys when I am playing with the dial.....

10. I love the slit to see how much juice is left.

11. DON'T MAKE IT HEAVIER. This is a pocket mod, it will go flying from dude's shirts if it gets any weightier, been there, done that.

12. On/off switch needed -- that's on the production one I know.

13. The feel, the size, the button locations -- all good.

14. Car charger availabilty would also be a plus.

That's my impressions after a day, I would buy this new and that is about the best praise I can give anything. You were smart to send this to me, it does fill a large hole that tube mods cannot fill, its very stealthy and carry-friendly, you have my interest piqued for sure. I hope this is quite a bit cheaper than the (another mod), its what I imagine the (another mod) is at 1/3 the size -- and I'd rather control the juice myself anyway!!! Seriously, I have tried boxes up the ying-yang, I hate the taste of bottom feeders, even with the (another mod) -- but I like this box. This top feeding is the way to go and yours is a 100% better appearance than the (another mod) -- and I was a long time ....... owner before becoming a GG fanboy. These will fly off the shelves when the time comes, they are so made for the work environment.

Is that the kind of feedback you require? I have never been a tester before.......

The hippie on the plains,
John

I'll be sending it along to FreakyStyle now (PM me dude:)) and I will miss it but I truly think I should keep this moving so others can enjoy it as much as I have. If I keep it any longer it would just be for selfish reasons, not my way........:2cool:

Rip, what's the juice capacity and how do you get it to feed?

Here's the basic rundown.....:toast:

1.VariVolt control 3.3 - 5.5 volts up to 3 amps ( runs dual coil carts to 4.7 volts @ 1.5 ohms )
2. Wheel control like the Buzz Pro I Pro
3. about the size of a pack of cigs but thinner .
4. 6 ml juice bottle built in
5. juice pump , 2 drops per pump ( manual )
6. dual color Led
7. Master On/Off switch
8. Top feeder with a silicon tube ( dripper )
9. 1,000,000 cycle rated swich
10. Aluminum case with brass top and bottom caps ( cap available in chrome )
11. Anodized case in several colors
12. external charger with plug in
13. no need to change batteries just plug in over night ( batteries can be changed and are STOCK size 14500 type protected )

thats about all for now

Oh the Controller has , over current protection , bad voltage indicator ( short circuit ) , over temp. protection , current throttling for excess current draw that could cause damage , Large USA Mfg. make the chip for us , 1,000,000 day MTBF

I know, I know, bs reviews abound about so many things here, but I owe nothing to Notcigs fwiw though I do like Buzz and the community. This thing will be worth it IMO and I cannot say that about 90% of the mods I have tried up until now -- and there aren't many I haven't except for some of the new releases.:) I don't care about exact voltages on VV, I just want what tastes good; anything else seems to be overkill, it just needs to be easy to use. Same with a feeder.......:)

I think I'm going to love it being a top feeder~!

Bought a Boge Revolution to try the bottom feeder thing again (cheap to try). Nope, flopped on that one. I just can't seem to get the bottom thingy going. Top feeder? Heck yeah! I will definitely be getting me one of these once they are on the market.

Edit: Will it work with cartomizers? Just curious, but if not, no problem. I have gobs of atty's waiting for it.

I suppose cartos will but all you have to do is hit the pump once to get a couple hits, easy-peasy for attys, no chance for flooding.:thumb:

Thanks Ripple...time to get my atty's out and check them over good. Poor things probably feel pretty lonely and leftout. When the VVPV gets released, I'll be scratching them behind their ears again.

Same thing with me and the wet box, nice lil cheap mod but I didnt like the taste of the bottom feeder, and I wasnt much for the function. Ive read others say its perfect for cartos and even dual coils, I use cartos 99% of the time, I need to get some good attys for this before it heads my way
