Risks on using 26650 Full Mech Mod

Hi guys. I saw a full mech mod for 75% off and I thought of purchasing it as a back up. It's a 26650 tube mod. I was just wondering--how does a single 26650 perform compared with a single 18650 mod? Are there more risks with the 26650 when going into the sub ohm range? Hoping to get answers asap 'cause the sale might not be for long! Thanks in advance.

It all depends on the batteries you use , I use the 20 amp CDR MNKE 26650's so I build accordingly . The mah rating on the 26650 batteries is higher than the 18650's so they do stay above 3.7 volts longer . Bottom line is build the 26650 the same as you would for an 18650 battery of the same Continuous Discharge Rate or CDR and the only difference will be longer vape time with the 26650 .

Thanks for the response! I read somewhere that the technology of 26650s are behind that of the 18650s, but as long as this mod doesn't blow up on my face at 0.2-0.4 ohms, then I guess I'm good.

I wouldn't push my MNKE's down to .2 but .4 is no problem , there are 26650's out that will give you what you're looking for .
