Riva 510 Always Leaking?

It's leaking at the battery and atty connection, juice running out. I have tried using less juice but then I get that burnt taste. Is this normal? I hate all this juice being everywhere and constantly wiping my fingers off with a damp dish cloth. Even the damn carto's leak and always getting juice through the white rubber hole on my lips, which taste awful.

Seems it's just the nature of the beast? If this is the case I will be looking for another e-cig soon, one that doesn't leak. I don't have this problem with my pen style 801.

I've never had a problem with my riva atty leaking... unless I flood it. The cone is great for catching leaks. I can see an atty leaking but cartos don't leak unless they are really flooded. When you fill a carto, blow into it gently into a paper towel to get any excess out.

Well, well, well, silly me never once put that darn cone on. I thought it was to make the -cig look good. Lol, and yes I am laughing too, oh my.

I use my riva without the cone and never experience leaks unless I put too much juice .. still using my original atty.. cartos never leak unless I flood them too.

The cone will at least stop the juice from getting on my fingers, but obviously I must be doing something wrong. I can't seem to get the hang of how much juice to add, even if I drop 2 drops on the atty it leaks.

I filled up the cartos using the condom method and it still comes through the white rubber hole. Maybe I am pulling to hard, who knows? I'm going to pull that rubber out and put a drip tip on the carto and see if that stops juice from getting in my mouth. After all I can't keep drinking this nicotine.

I always use cartos with a drip tip, it just feels better, lol! if i dont blow out the center hole sometimes i get a little juice. ive been syringe filling recently however, I find it easier/less messy. Maybe you're pushing the juice in too fast/not letting it rest long enough to soak into the filler?

Vaping with the drip tip on the carto has solved the problem, no juice in my mouth. I ordered more juice last night and forgot to get the syringe. Oh well, next order, but the way I vape it will be soon.

A simple little trick.
See that o-ring? It acts like a mini juice well catching the juice that leaks out the connector. On the next draw that juice will get sucked right back into the atty.

With cartos remember that water runs down hill, and there is a lot of juice in there.. You want the juice down by the coil, not up at your mouth. Pay attention to that when you are carring your PV around in your hand.
