RIVA 510 battery light?

Finally got my RIVA 510 Carto kit yesterday. It came with two 750mah batteries. On one of the batteries, when I plug it in the charger, the blue light on the battery on/off button comes on and stays on until the battery is charged and then goes off. On the other battery the blue light on the battery does not come on at all when charging. This morning when using the battery that does not light the blue button when charging, it stopped producing vapor for 10 minutes then started working again.
So the question is, should the blue light on the battery button be lit when charging or not?
I'm sending an email to LF Support but would appreciate it if you would post your experience. Thanks.

When I put my Riva batteries on the charger the blue light blinks rapidly around 3 times then goes off. I have 4 batteries, 2 750 mah and 2 mah. The 750 mah are from LF. Last time my battery stopped suddenly was when my atty dies suddenly and tried to take the battery with it.

My 750s blink a few times when put on charge. Then the light goes out.
One thing, I think you are supposed to plug the battery into the charger and THEN plug into the power source. Not the other way around. I'm not sure if this makes a difference in battery life or not.
