Hello everyone, I'm fairly new to the e-cig world. I ordered a Blu cig starter kit, to make a long story short they now have it back. So now i was looking throughout this forum and have read a lot of good things about the Ego. I was just about to purchase an Ego when i saw the Riva 510. I just want to know what differences if any between the Riva 510 and the Ego?(due to the fact the Riva 510 is like $20 cheaper why pay extra)

vape on

I remember a couple years back when this was just beginning it seemed and it just seemed like it would be way more expensive than just smoking, and now you can get a full blown starter kit with a ton of juice and carto's for $100 or less and be set for at least a few weeks. Back then I remember seeing these things advertised for over $200 just for the PV alone, and those were ones like you get at 7-11 for $20 now, and are truly horrible. It will be even cheaper if you choose to use atty's over carto's, but when I was doing my research, I found carto's would work best for me because the thought of having to refill constantly would cause me to just go back to analogs just for the convenience. I've rolled my own smokes in the past and had no issue there, as I would roll a pack or two at a time, and I just filled 10 carto's in about 20 minutes. Can't wait for my first one to run out so I can try another flavor!

I purchased the Joyetech EGO it came with,
2 x 510 matte atomizer
2 x Cones (atomizer cover)
2 xEGO 650mAh rechargeable pushbutton lithium-ion batteries (over four times the capacity of a standard 510 battery)
5 x Pre-filled cartridges
1 x 110VAC to USB wall adapter
1 x USB 500mAh output quick charger (use on your computer or with supplied wall adapter or any other USB 2.0 port or power source) DO NOT USE this USB charger on standard 510 batteries.
1 x Soft black carrying pouch
1 x instruction manual
from LiteCig in E-Cigarette for 54.95 and it works great.

Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - Riva 510

Use coupon code: october20 for 20% off the entire order. The Riva comes to $29.99. As others have said, it's up to you, but out of the research I'd been doing, they are essentially the same thing, just with a better battery on the Riva at nearly half the cost. It's my first day with the Riva, and so far I am loving it. No real analog cravings yet after about 4 hours. Also, still on my first carto after those first 4 hours and also on the first battery which was charged only as much as comes from the factory. I am about to swap out the batteries though to give this one a full charge since someone told me not to worry about the 8 hour initial charge with this type of battery.

I got my Ego with 2 attys (LR and Standard), 2 protective button caps, 1 cone, 2 650mAh, 5 pre-filled cartridge, 1 usb charger, 1 wall charger, 1 instruction manual and 1 soft cloth pouch. I thinks it's the standard package. Where as you get 2 longer battery life with Riva, that performs well with Ego if not better. Either of the two. Get your money's worth.
