i'll tell you how I knew... that's where everybody gets their Rivas. they'll be real nice at first. after you have to keep having things replaced over & over, they get a little less nice.:p i don't know if my Riva kit (plus 2 separate batteries) were just from a bad batch or what, & i figure they probably were, but after a while i don't know if i was sicker of them, or they were sicker of me. if not for the mods, i was thisclose to going back to cigarettes. that's how frustrating the whole experience was for me. i had to replace 2 attys & the replacements failed as soon as i got em, 1 charger, & probably like, 6 or 8 batteries. like i said, i lost count. one that i sent back, after they told me to, they refused to replace or return to me, because they said the warranty had run out. they said they'd send it with my next order if i asked. as if.

fool me once, shame on you. fool me twice, shame on me.

(btw... the 901 is just the KR8 version of the Riva. 510s are basically the same thing. they just have different connectors

just about everybody works their way up to mods eventually anyway. when i talk to anyone who is interested in e-cigs, i tell them to skip all the working up, & start with a mod in the first place. save yourself the aggravation.

but you know, that's probably just me.

My Riva kit has worked flawlessly for 4 months now ..

I have only had my Rive se for a few days but I like it a lot.The two 2.0 atty's work great. If on the other hand I use either of the two standard atty's from another kit they do not work very well. They are both hard to draw through. They have been cleaned and work fair in the other kits battery but draw hard on the Riva? The Riva's two atty's are also a lot easier to blow through.

Basically I'm just looking for a nice way to vape that doesn't require me to fill a cartridge every five minutes, and that doesn't start tasting burnt when I don't. The Bloogs are pretty close to what I want, but I'm experimenting (and spending quite a bit of money on it :)) to see if I can find anything better.
Thanks for the advice on the echo-e carts, I just ordered some. I also ordered some APL-A580 atomizers. There isn't much info on those (relatively new product I think), but I never tried a tank system before, so I'm hoping I will like it.

have you tried the bloog carto on the Riva? I like the bloog cartos quite a bit with mine. (if the Riva is a 510, just get a 901-510 adapter)

My Riva has also worked flawlessly for over 6 months. I have purchased new attys, but my original 4 batteries are still chugging away. I now have a Reo Mini and a Buzz Pro, but I still use my Riva every day.
