Riva off switch?

I got a couple of these Riva 750mAh batteries cause they were cheap a few days ago. Ive tried different combinations of button presses to try turning them off with no luck. From what I could find it should take 3 or 5 quick presses to turn off a Riva but not so much with these. They aren't actually Riva branded so maybe knock-offs? Are these possibly an older/cheaper version with no off function?

Yup - those are just the older, basic batteries with no on/off feature.

The original Riva batteries from Eastmall are the only ones that have the on/off function. The Rivas made by Smokteck and SLB do not have that function.
