I recently upgraded to a riva since the 510 batts don't last long. I ordered from a vendor well known here on the forums that i won't name. Both batts and the charger failed within 72 hours. The vendor promptly sent me out replacements without even requiring me to return the bad merchandise first... hats off for that level of trust and service. One of the new batts didn't work at all and the other has a button that is nearly flush with the unit so it's difficult to depress (not proper) but it functions... so far.
I also noticed that all the fittings on all the equipment so far has poor threading or something since they bind several times as you screw the equipment together including the charger. The chargers also seem to be very frail.
Is this normal for Riva units? Did i just get unlucky with a bad batch or what? Is this vendor just getting poor quality gear or is this just what to expect from Riva's? If so, are the e-go's better quality?
