Grrr, just bought one of the black ones! I didn't think there would be steel in this batch!

Steel looks good! The only other difference, is that the end-cap, is also steel colored, and not gold like the band/threads.

Yep!
I can't really think of any exceptions....

Except of course, the RIVA 901 battery takes a 901 atomizer.
