A few days ago I went camping for 2 nights. I took 3 riva batteries, 4 14500s, 3 IMR 18650s and 3 5 volt 18650s all fully charged. As I am getting ready to hike in to the remote camp sites I have a change of heart. I set up camp at a site with electric hook up just in case, paying $10 a night more for the privilege.:(

And a partridge in a pear tree? So you paid $10 per night for power, did you bring the charger? :)

We're going camping soon to the outback...but at least we'll have the car with the second battery to charge things, but YIKES I'm getting nervous at the thought.
I read about the explosion of bush rat populations in parts out there due to all the rain....said to chew through cars electrical wiring.
I'm imagining all kinds of (probably highly unlikely)scenarios!
I'm also imagining the invention of some kind of compact wear it on your backpack solar powered battery charger thingamajig specifically for vaping hikers/campers.
Surely it must be possible?
Or do I have too much imagination going on?

For how long???

Vapers are an obsessive bunch, aren't we.

Think what you'd do when you smoked cigarettes. (Assuming you used to. I think it's a safe assumption.)

Personally, when I went out into the wilderness, which used to happen for 2-3 weeks at a time, I just packed a pack per day. Sometimes I smoked less that than, especially when I was getting a lot of exercise, so I knew I was covered.

Likewise- I get through about 1000mAh of vaping power a day. (Really more like 900, but I like to be safe.)

So if I were going on a week wilderness holiday, I'd pack:

10 750mAh batteries.

Or 3 2600mAh batteries.

Or 8 1000mAh...

you get the idea.

And pack a few extras- but don't oversweat this.

when I smoked, if I ran out of ciggies, I had to do without for a little while.

If you run out of power, or juice, same same.

It's why they call it roughing it.

We're going camping this weekend, and all my stuff is going with me. But we're camping in this

so I don't think there will be any issues.
