Click on his name from any post he's made, then look for "Start a Conversation".

There are other ways, but that works...

Err...I went to Rob's profile page to send him a pm about this RM7 and I can't figure out how to pm him lol! Everything has changed so much! Help? Where in the heck is the pm button on people's profile pages?

I just got my rm7 today, to be honest im a little disappointed. The screws are way too short and of poor quality and the o rings are too thin and loose, a bit of dental floss helped but ill need to search for proper screws now to get this thing to work. I really wanted to like this atty. I understand its a clone, just very poorly made. :'(

It's definitely not the most well made clone I've ever seen. The screws are terrible, and the o ring seals on the top, for the AFC ring, are too loose. But performance wise, I liked the design well enough to order an authentic, which should be here tomorrow.

My screws are horrible but work but the center post spins with the slightest breeze. I was even extra careful building the first time after seeing others with the issue. Nope, second build it spins like Pat and Vanna are in the background urging it on. Can't get a stable ohm reading on three different meters.

Where are people putting there coils on this one?? Cant seem to find the sweet spot. Trying to build it the same as the derringer with 30 gage wire with 7 wraps 2.5 pole on the coilmaster.. comes out to 1ohm for dual coil. Tried fully opened and fully closed. Coil near the top and coil normal and then even moved the coils in more near the center post.

I'm thinking I need to drop ohm and go bigger wire to get the same volume or heat.

Center of the wells and out to the edge, about 3/4 way up the center post in height. I need to put ss screws in mine i think...using plumers tape for the oring problem, good build in it now, leaving it alone lol...

Mine is built with 7/8 wrap 26g kanthal on 2.0mm pole. Dual coils. About .43 ohms. Coil height is important. Measure the inside of the cap, from bottom to the underside of the top, where the air inlets are, and set your coils so the tops of the coils are 1 1/2 to 2mm below that. You have to play with the height, but I like mine as close to the air inlets as I can safely get them.
