Anyone having a problem with there atomizer my email is reo@reosmods.com . I will refund your money if there is a problem . Keep in mind these are not $100 atomizers . I will look into the screws on these mods if there not up to the task I will get some that are and replace them no charge to the customer

Awesome, Rob. For me, the screws are the only issue.

This is just an opinion from my own experience with my RM7.

If you got one that the center pin was not long enough, then trying to tighten to compensate may loosen the center post. When I was trying to figure it out and get it to work, I noticed the center pin begin to turn. That's when I let off and checked the length of the screw and realized the screw was too short. I was able to straighten my center pin and find a screw that worked. So that solved my problem. (My center pin was still tight) I have a suspicion had I kept trying to tighten the center screw I may have loosened it to the point where it would work any longer. Not trying to lay blame but that could have been what happened with some through no fault of their own other than trying to tighten the center post screw to trap the wires. JMHO

Mine is built with 7/8 wrap 26g kanthal on 2.0mm pole. Dual coils. About .43 ohms. Coil height is important. Measure the inside of the cap, from bottom to the underside of the top, where the air inlets are, and set your coils so the tops of the coils are 1 1/2 to 2mm below that. You have to play with the height, but I like mine as close to the air inlets as I can safely get them.
Cool...I'll try this when I have a chance to adjust or rebuild.thus far I can't get flavor better than an odin which, imho, is an unacceptable waste of juice. I love everything else about the atty though. It doesn't leak or condensate much unlike the rem which though similar in design weeps juice like I've never seen rendering the atty almost unusable.

So far my experience with top air isn't good.

I just measured the inside of the cap on mine. The height of the chamber, inside, is exactly 12mm. So, try setting the top of your coils at 10mm from the bottom of the base.

Question for those that have the RM7.

Are you able to close up the draw on the AFC, or does it leak air regardless of how it's adjusted?

I'm just curious because I bought some when they first came out and I had to mod the AFC ring to get it to work properly.

I've heard this problem has been corrected on some of the newer clones.

I haven't had any leakage with mine. I don't have an older one though to compare it to.

I'm sure the batch varies but mine never fully closes. I believe the fix is to thst thst Afc ring and sand the bottom of it so it will seat fully on the top so it will be air tight. There still is enough restriction fully closed to where it would seem fine though. I'm sure the manufacturing tolerances vary a bit.

Why would the airflow ever need to be completely closed?

It shouldnt.. but since it can't then you know your never really adjusting the air flow with the afc top. So your always allowing in more air then a little if one wanted it a quarter open only for mouth to lung hits.

Yeah, there have been a lot of accounts of Rogue clones being airy even with the afc closed. If you really need it, the afc cap sanding described above has been used.

Myself, I tend to just adjust the afc on any atty to what I like in terms of air flow - I don't even pay much attention to the actual setting; it's more about the feel of it (the Chalice III is a good example). No issues with the Rogue at all in this respect. The afc range is within my personal tolerance, and even with the air wide open, it's nowhere near as airy as many other atties.

As an early adopter I figured out where and why the AFC was leaking and modded the AFC ring by sanding it down a little at a time until I had a really good seal. I also took out the large diameter O-Ring for the AFC ring because it would roll and prevent the AFC ring from staying completely seated. The smaller inside ring is enough to hold it in place and I've had absolutely no problem running without it.

The result was a significant improvement in flavor AND cloud production. With properly sealed AFC control I was able to adjust the AFC opening to the same size as the coil, resulting in ALL the airflow being directed at the coil. It does make a difference.

It's a great top fed atty that doesn't leak in your pocket. :)

Thanks ,looking forward to this new Reomizer, which has already shipped without delay ,

I suppose I was lucky but my two RM7's fit, both the deck screws and the"O" rings. I have had mine for a little while and I prefer the RM7 to Odin and Derringer. I hope that you like yours as well.
