That's an almost impossible question to answer. Juices taste different on different attys. Also temp, power, and build affect flavor of any given juice.

Since flavor and taste are subjective it just becomes a matter of trial and error to find out what build on what specific atty you like best.

What I like may not work for you and vice versa.

Okay, my impression of the RM7 is this. First of all, I'm a big fan of dual coil builds in 18mm attys for flavor. IMO, 18mm attys will nearly always be superior to 22mm attys for flavor production. For a 22mm atty, the flavor production is 'Odin-esque'. Very similar, but, IMO, doesn't achieve the level of a Nuppin or an RM4, for flavor. It's not really a cloud chaser atty either. Vapor production is adequate, but wouldn't win any cloud comps. What the RM7 excels at, other than the fact that it looks awesome on the new Woodvils, is that it doesn't weep or leak juice. It would be next to impossible to over squonk it, which is a big plus. I don't want juice leaking on my new Woodvils.

I was joshing your chain until you made that comment. There's truth in your statement, it doesn't mean there can't be tips that would apply to everyone. Forgive me for asking. You're clearly much smarter than I am. Perhaps not a philosopher, but a wise sage. I worship you.

I sincerely apologize for my remarks. My posts were not helpful. It has not been one of my better days.

Wow that's as close to counterfeit as you can get. No logo, crappy looking screws and the outer ring is thicker

Yes, it's a clone, modded for bottom feed. I liked it well enough to order an authentic, though. When it shows up, I'll be able to compare.

Your comments will be worth waiting for. I look forward to them.

I have one RM7. Now, I am not an original thinker when it comes to REO's and atomizers. I rely on those who put in a lot of time and thought, if you are a regular here then you know them. I'll unintentionally omit someone if I try to name them. So, my comments below are those of a mere user, not those of a thoughtful person. [Kinda like my truck, I can use it with skill but don't ask me tell you how or why it works.]

I find the RM7 superior, for my purposes, to Odin, Derringer and a myriad of others. The reasons are similar to those that you state. My taste buds, having tasted for seventy years, may be as worn out as the rest of me; so, for me, taste is fine - as is the vapor. Its superiority to me is in the mechanics.

I would have to intentionally over squonk - it could be done but I would have to work at it. It is probably as leak free as an open atomizer can be, no matter in what position or angle I use it. I can set it down on any of the five flat sides without a leak. I like the very free draw, much like Derringer without the runs, drips and errors. The build deck is very easy for old eyes and hands. Coil placement is not as critical as it is with others. Lastly, the coils sit at such height that re-wicking is very easy without disturbing the coil form, again old eyes and hands. Working with the coils I find easier than I do the Odin.

I hope some find this post helpful. I will be ordering another of this style, whether it is an RM7 or an original, I await Rule62's comments.

I like the RM7 at least as well, and in several respects, better than the Odin. The issue I've always had with the Odin is the location of the air slots in the base. It forces the builder to offset the coils, rather than centering them. I'd rather have seen the slots in the base centered, and have 3 holes in the cap, to allow for those who prefer single coils.
The RM7 allows for a more closely centered build, which I like. The coil height also isn't as critical on the RM7, because of the top air flow. There are no holes in the sides of the cap.

My RM7 has been less than stellar...no threading issues but with my first build was giving very weird misfires, I didn't short anything but moved it around to rule out battery and mod issues. Then I rebuilt it and the second build as I was tightening the center screw the post spun about 110 degrees. I don't think I was being overtly hulkish is my technique? Haven't tried messing with it since but kinda disappointed at this point, I know it's a clone but meh...could a dropped a couple more bucks and grabbed another Odin.
