I just went to rewick my coil, as I do every night, and when I screwed my top cap back on, the airhole was about 8-10° short of lining up with where my coil is, centered between the two posts. Thinking there might be some cotton or juice jamming it up, I unscrewed it to find that there was nothing in the threading stopping it from fully screwing down. It just suddenly stopped lining up, which is now making for a tight draw. I don't get it. I've had this RM2 for a little over a month, I rinse the top cap and the base just about every other day to keep it clean, and I'm always conscious of being gentle with the threading.

Has anyone had this problem? What can I do?

I had the same thing happen, you can put an o-ring around the threads and that will let you line it up.
I ran mine like this for a week or so and then decided to take the oring off, for some reason it lined up perfectly again, couldn't tell you why :p

Wow, that worked surprisingly well. Thanks. Did you notice any leaking after you had the o-ring on for a while?

Nope, it sealed pretty tightly, in fact, I found that it became difficult to get the top cap off because it seated so tightly, thats why I decided to ditch the o-ring and discovered all was well again. :)

Mine was working it's way further around very slowly.
I took a piece of wire (IIRC 24 gauge ) and wrapped it around a flavor bottle a little smaller than the RM2 threaded area and cut it so the ends touched.
Put over the RM2 below the threads and it keeps the hole about 8 degrees from where it was.
No gap or leakage.
