RM3 question

On Rob's site the RM3 single & Dual coil atomizers look exactly the same. I am wanting a single coil only. What is the difference, anyone know? Thanks.

Single coil version has 2 posts (- +), dual has 3 posts (- + -).

Both versions have three posts, dual has two airholes, single has one.

I think someone said the airholes are the difference. The single has one and the dual has 2, but the single coil still has 3 posts. I have the dual and have built a single coil on it a few times, works fine

Guess one of my RM3's isn't a RM3 (an older version A6?).

ETA: Nope not an older version, but a 1 hole 2 post A6 bf'd it appears.

apparently the single coil has

3 posts
1 airhole
airhole slightly larger than the dual

All of my RM3's have 3 posts. The dual coil versions have a cap with 2 holes; the single coil versions have 1 cap hole.

I think you could always build a single coil on dual coil posts. Gives you a little flexibility.

I believe you can unscrew one of the negative posts if you only want a 2 post atty.
