RM3 Questions

I have the RM3 single coil coming with my Reo Grand LP and have been reading about it here. What I think I know is that it is an I Go W atomizer that has been modded to bottom feed. I just watched a Rip Trippers video on the I Go W and he builds it single, dual and quad coil (and he likes it). It has two air holes 180 degrees apart, 1 mm in diameter.

Why are there two models at reomods; single and double?

Could I have gotten the double coil model and built a single coil in it? Maybe block one of the air holes?

Am I wrong in thinking the RM3 is an I Go W (BF)?

At any rate I'm antsy to start squonking!

The rm3 isn't an Igo, though the single coil version is similar. It is a modified a6. If you ordered the single, it will come with one air hole, and is intended to use one coil. The dual gives you two holes, and is intended for duals. Rob offers both to give options for those looking for a small chamber single with a push on cap instead of the threaded cap that the rm2 has. I suppose you could put quads in the rm3, but that would be pretty tight! Might have to drill the post holes out to fit multiple wires in, they are pretty small. I run duals of 28ga, and am quite happy with it.
