I bought 5 RN 4075's from LF when I got me eGo.

I was using them on my Puck mod and I've gone through 3 attys in about a week.

The first one stopped working after a couple days and measured very high resistance with an Ohm meter... Like 43 Ohms. Not sure how that happened.....

The next one I pulled out didn't fire up at all on first try and tested open.

The third one worked fine for a couple days and then stopped working and test open.

LF was replacing the first 2 and the 3rd just happened.

I have a DVM in my Puck and with 4 charged NiMH AAA's it reads about 5.7V and about 4.5V under load.

I've used the same 901 for weeks and am using it again now with no problem

Should the RN 4075's be able to handle the load in the Puck? I thought they were a pretty rugged atty. They were putting out some good vapor when they worked.

Is my Puck a 4075 killer? Did I get bad attys? Just bad luck? What should the 4075 be able to take w/o frying? Any thoughts?
