I am still a bit confused. Can you buy blank RN4081 cartomizers that work with the Smokestik batteries (I have a Hendu)? I am looking for blank units to fill with ejiuce, but use my SS battery. I assume an RN4081 has a different internal design than the prefilled SS cartomizers? Which is better - using up a SS cartomizer, then refilling it, or trying to buy a blank?

The CE2 is a cartomizer design made by only one company, they've just started making them in the 4081 design as of right now I haven't seen any sellers in the US with them in stock yet might be a few more weeks unless you want to order direct from China. I use the CE2's exclusively in my Ego and will do the same with my 4081 when they hit the shores here, for now azsmokefree sell's regular 4081 carto's pretty cheap about $6 for 5.

some of the reading i did yesterday on the SS and the 4081 indicated that SS has upgraded their 4081 series products. their SS model specific thread here can update you if you haven't already seen this info.

reportedly, the SS carto has a different filler that is resistant to burning. Also, their auto batteries are reported to have vac switches rather than audio. i don't know if either of these are exclusive to SS, or updating has occurred with 4081 products across the marketplace.

the impression that i got from reading from SS users though, is that refilling SS cartos is preferred over other blanks. but i cannot confirm this from experience. just sharing what i read here.

have a good day today,
Tj

I think vacuum activated is pretty standard across the 4081 platform, I have generic batteries that are all vac activated. I would love to try out the SS carto's but they just seem to expensive not paying $5 a pop.
