I have read that the DSE103 batts work for the 4081 but my question is about the attys and carts. Are the carts for the 4081 the same as the 103 carts. I ask because I would like to get a spare atty or 2 but everyone is outta stock but they have the attys for the 103's and well Im cheep and I dont want to have to get diff carts just to have a back-up atty.

Also I s there a way to make the draw on the 4081 easier and more "regular"?

I don't think so, but these people here do:

found it...I am going blind Kent...anyway here it is for anyone else that might want to know.

The DES103 and RN4081 are interchangeable, with only one difference.
If you use RN4081 attys, you must use RN4081 Carts.
If you use DSE103 attys, you must use the DSE103 Carts.

The attys and batts have the same connection, but the cart end diameter of the attys are different, so the carts are not interchangeable.

Good! Sorry, I could have been more specific - I was just addressing your last line there.
