Getting ready to travel through the snow tomorrow from VA to OH for the Holiday. I used to love going on trips, but since I met my wife that had changed as I was forced to sit in the car for long periods with no cigarettes. I can't tell you how excited I am to finally enjoy a nice long drive with her and my dogs and not have to go through a bad craving, because my new ProTank mini will at my disposal.

Quick question. How much vaping equipment do you bring on trips?
Here is what I will be packing this week.
(1) Protank Mini
(1) 1300 egoT
(2) 650 ego's
(1) 1100 ego (my primary for the car)
(4) clearos for back up
couple extra coils for pro tank
30ml green apple from B&M
30ml iVape Carolina harvest
10ml pineapple from B&M

I know I probably won't use hardly all of this stuff, but better safe than sorry right.
Not to mention my wife has smokers in her family in OH, maybe I can win a convert.

With what they're saying for weather? Double it.

Me and her had a 30 minute talk about what car to take on the trip. She has a brand new AWD RAV4 and I have a GMC Sierra Crew Cab Z71.
I think her car may actually be a better choice, but my truck is paid for. Since I will do 99% of the driving, I would never forgive myself if her new car slapped a guard rail, however if it happens in my tuck, most people wouldn't be able to distinguish the new dents and scratches from the old ones.

Mostly I think I feel more comfortable driving my truck because I know exactly how handles in bad weather and what to expect from it in a loss of traction situation.

Plus all my Ego chargers are in my truck ;)

In case you want to help an interested relative, bring an extra charger and a little extra liquid to go with an Ego and clearo. It's easier to help them without leaving yourself stuck, and a spare charger is a good idea anyway. Have a safe trip!

I did a Yelp search earlier and found a shop or 2 that probably has a starter kit available, so if anyone was really interested we could easily take a ride. There are no real Vape shops close by AFAIK but when I get there I will check again to see if anything is around.

Anyone familiar with the Ironton OH area that knows of a close B&M? If someone in her family wanted to get serious, Cincinatti isn't far and I am sure there is something there.

I'm not a good one to ask ... I carry my vaping supplies in their own BACKPACK!

Looks like what you have should get you through though. Have fun and travel safe!

I'll also recommend AltSmoke. They have locations in New Philadelphia, Columbus, and Cincinnati. The one in Cincinnati is the premier B&M shop east of the Mississippi, carrying all sorts of vape supplies and over 100 flavors to sample at their vape bar. Local vapors go just to hang out and vape with friends.

To be honest Devauto, that pretty much is all my vaping supplies, minus a couple juice bottles I am not that crazy about, and 2 terrible 510 batteries.

I understand where you're coming from and can empathize. When I go on holidays the amount of juice and gear I take is staggering and I've never had any gear failure. Seeing as you're visiting a group of smokers sounds like a good idea to have extras.
Best of Luck, enjoy yourself and drive safe.

@ Talyon...you also have a very enjoyable and safe holiday.

Might be surprised that someone could use those 510's. Also juice wise someone may enjoy those 2 bottles and it would be a great PIF IMO. As you might have surmised I'm hoping someone there takes to vaping LOLL.

On a road trip I take:

Provari
Nemesis
Aqua rba
Russian rba
Terminator-C rba
Fogger rba
7 batteries
battery charger with DC adaptor
200 ml of spare juice. 50 ml each of different flavors for each rba

If traveling for more than a week I'll bring Kanthal cotton and butane torch in case I need to rebuild and re-wick.

That's about all I would take. Was a boy scout so believe in being prepared.

Spare gear is fine to swap and donate, but personally I would never donate or swap juice with anyone. If I can't vape it, it's down the toilet she goes. Donating or swapping opened bottles of juice opens one up to major liability and risk. Sure I've given juice to a friend and have tried others vape, but was taught as a kid, never accept candy from strangers.

I appreciate the intent of the PIF, but can't believe it is being done with opened bottles of juice. I feel that should not be allowed to happen on this forum. Sure, between trusted friends through private pm's is fine, but the liability issue is tremendous in an open forum format. What really surprises me is that they don't allow certain clone/counterfeits to be sold or co-op'd, on this forum, but allow a potentially dangerous liable practice and encouragement of used juice donations to occur? But then I am often confused and surprised about many things.

Vape long and Prosper!!!

Re: PIF I was speaking of his wife's family. I agree with you though. Juice returned to my non profit vape prog is disposed of.
