You will not be disappointed,we all build things up with stuff we have no experience with, it's natural. Once you get the Reo in hand and mount your first micro, you'll see it wasn't hard at all. Here's a checklist so you don't end up collapsing all your springs. Many of these are remote, but can be easily missed if unaware.
- Meter your coils before putting on the reo, do once with top cap off and once with top cap on. If you have a short between the top cap and anything else, you'll see it here.
-noalox, you're gonna need a bottle. You only need a small dab so the 4oz bottle will last a long time.
-make sure you give the rm2 post screws a double check every now and again. The screws can get loose which may cause the coil to come loose or shift and potentially cause a short. really, really, small chance of this happening, but with your location, spring preservation is key.
- be mindful of your drip tip, especially if you use a metal one. Some sit really deep into the rm2, touching the post screws and thus causing a short.
I haven't had any shorting issues and I am not this diligent in my own coil making, many of these cases are 1 in a 1000 shot but still good to look out for, it'll become 2nd nature to you soon enough.
