Thanks for sharing Rob. That's quite a path you've traveled friend.

I gained even more respect for you after reading you worked in masonry, concrete, etc. One of the first jobs I had as a young teen was as a brick mason's helper for my cousin. He did a lot of chimneys and I had the pleasure of mixing mortar and manhandling the wheelbarrow up treacherous inclines and what-not. It's gets quite amusing if you imagine me as the 15yr old, 130lb teen I was back then. Stacking bricks up my arm, then climbing up the ladder to keep him supplied. Aye, big fun that job.

My next job was landscaping... I won't even get into that. Suffice it to say I have a special admiration for a man who won't shy away from hard physical labor.

Again, thanks for the history, the reo, the excellent customer support and most of all for being a friendly, hard working but approachable mate.

:toast:

Great story! We're all very glad you chose this career path! I took one REO with me on vacation (just got back) but had to use 510 sticks sometimes...like going from steak to a corn dog. Oh, what's a hoople?

Did you watch HBO's Deadwood? That's when I was introduced to the word and find myself using it a lot. I'm thinking a hoople or hooplehead is just another way to insult someone without using any four letter words.

Oops, I stand corrected by Rob.

I applaud you Rob for the great success and dedication. I read the back brief and listened to the radio broadcast, one thing that stood out to me that is truly lost on many other vape gear companies, is the lack of the intent to make a profit as a source of motivation. Dont get me wrong I suspect that REOs mods makes a great profit but its the fact that you only step up production or release new products to meet the demand of your customers, not to intentionally drain their wallets.

Box mods of all shapes are on the rise, especially the regulated ones, but they all start with an insane pre-order price for what is essentially a modified pre-fab piece of either wood, aluminum or plastic. The REO is extremely fair priced custom enclosure, purpose machined and exuding in style and functionality.

Then you add in the customer service that is beyond reproach and he will even entertain your custom orders for a nominal fee if you are willing.

Thank you again Rob and also I acknowledge all of you dedicated REOnauts, you all add to the appeal of the REO and perpetuate the upstanding character and quality that Rob and REOs represent.

Has demand always been greater than supply Rob or do you sometimes catch up, stabilise and comfortably match the demand ?

Also, over the last 12 months what sort of % growth in mod numbers have you experienced ?

Please just say if I am being to nosy and you would prefer not to disclose the numbers :)

Just curious about vaping momentum.

I wont get into #s the truth is It has always been a struggle to keep up . I have 5 full time employes and a couple part timers we still struggle to keep up .
As soon as I get close I always jump on another project like a wood run and I am back in the hole again .
I no people think I am busier now then I use to be but the truth is for the first couples years I made mods I couldn't even keep them on the site . Not a bad situation to be in I am not complaining .

One of the problems I have today is I have to many options Low pros super lights low pro super lights min mods LP mini mods and soon I will have LP/SL mini mods . Its a constant battle to keep the machine rolling along smoothly .

I will be releasing a hand full of new rbas shortly that will add to the pile . I have a bunch of projects I want to work on but haven't had the time
I have spoke of building a mod that uses a kick with a 18650 . I want to build a oval 18650 mod I have built a couple in my head but haven't had the time to get prototype done yet .

Dear Rob... there's so much I want to say about you that I really don't know where to begin.... I've never admired and respected a man as much as I do you, and it continually grows.

I wish someone could replicate thousands of "you".

and I'd have one of 'em snatched up in a hearbeat:laugh:
