I got my Rocket V2 rba from fasttech on Friday. The first RBA that I purchased was the Rocket V1 at the beginning of January. Still relatively new to this. It was cheaply made and it was always leaking from somewhere. All the same, it produced a wonderful vape. I always think of latte bubbles whenever I vape it. When the V2 came out, I ordered it immediately even though it was relatively expensive for a fasttech item (was 24.72 when I ordered it but it has dropped to 17.51 since). The design, other than the AFC, is the same as before but all the parts are now in stainless steel. It comes with both a polycarbonate and a stainless steel center section. I put it together with AW30 6 wraps on a 1.4mm screwdriver (1/16"). Came out to 1.8ohm. I used cotton to wick it leaving a little extra to push down to the bottom of the base. The AFC is a ring with 2 holes in it. The holes are different sizes. There are 2 corresponding holes in the base. It is extremely easy to tailor the draw. Opening both holes produces a very airy draw. I ended up only opening the smaller of the two holes and it is perfect for me. One of the best parts is how easy it is to fill. I closed the AFC, popped the top off, filled it to the top, put the top back on and reset the AFC ring. No leaks no fuss!!! I am using it on my MVP2 and it vapes wonderfully. Great vaper and great taste. I highly recommend it. By the way, I was concerned with leaking so I left it on its side all night wrapped in a paper towel. No leaks at all.

Just got mine yesterday. My experience is the opposite of yours. My V1 has never leaked. But this one does. I've disassembled and reassembled ... still leaking. Too bad too because I agree, the vape is outstanding. Smooth and silky, just right.

Where is it leaking from? They do tend to flood the bottom chamber a little bit when filling them from the top, which is why I try to vape them empty before a refill.

I have both a V1 and V2 and the only leak issues I've had was from the base of the V1 which like to seep at the bottom seam. I disassembled the base and replaced the o-ring, and no more weeps.

IMO, the V2 Rocket is one of the best kayfun style atomizers available for the price. I suspect if they charged $150 for it, you'd see alot more threads about how awesome it is and we'd all be waiting for the clone.

I use both my Rockets daily and they are both a smooth, great vape. The V1 rides on my MVP and is the out and about, go to work rig. The V2 is setup at .9Ω for my Panzer clone.

Replace the Tank o-rings if it is leaking around any of the sections. Does NOT matter if they look okay, they will be slightly to small.
I purchased 2 Rocket V1. Had to replace the lowest Tank o-ring on both and have not had any issues since.

Also still prefer the more streamlined look to the v2. Would prefer a upgrade Tank section/option.

I seem to have corrected my leaking problem. Don't know what did it, as I was fussing with a few things, but no more leaking. Thing is vaping nicely, really smooth. I have the stainless tank on my V2, vaping a cinnamon juice right now. I took the extra plastic tank and threw it on my V1, which was sitting in pieces with a melted tank. So I went from zero Rockets to two, just like that. ;)

Seems like a lot of folks rag on these, and I'll confess that I have yet to try any other Kayfun clones. But I think they're great.

I remember reading somewhere about replacement deck screws that are easier to build on, but I can't seem to find it in the search. Anyone have that link? It was some sort of 3mm screw is all I recall.

Mine started leaking from the air hole. Worked great for a couple of weeks. Got some minor leaks from the sides but nothing bad until it decided to start leaking from the base. I really like the Rocket but not sure that it will go back into my rotation. Got an EHPro KFL+ and it seems to work flawlessly.

What size O-rings did you use?
