Hey guys I'm still pretty new to the vape world but I have some questions. I started on an iTaste MVP 2.0 with nautilus Mini then jumped to the Aspire Atlantis with the Aspire sub ohm battery. The flavor and vapor production is amazing but I can't help but wanting more and more. From the little research I've done it seems the only way to do this would be to start dripping. So with that being said, with the setup i already have, what are my options and what other equipment do I need?

Welcome to ECF, Face...

As you already have a battery that will provide adequate current down to 0.3Ω... you'll need a RDA that will support an AFC (air flow control) option of single or dual parallel coils. Something along the lines of a Origen V2 has that capability.

Besides that you'll need a build box/ohm meter and/or DMM (digital mulitmeter) to verify your build resistance... in addition, some Kanthal A1 wire - I'd suggest 26 through 30 gauge to provide you with a nice range of sub-ohm to one+Ω single and dual coil builds - and some wicking material... the most popular being cotton or rayon.

Genuine Kanthal A1 wire can be purchased on eBay from the US distributor, Temco.

Finally, I'd suggest that you click on both my sigline hyperlinks and begin your education on rebuilding (including computer modeling of coil builds in Steam Engine), battery safety and Ohm's law.

I have the Magma rda clone from fasteh and if your looking for the best flavor with decent clouds the magma is perfect for you. the predrilled air holes come up right below the coil to maximize air flow over the coils and giving you a flavor blaster in your hands. i sub ohm at 6ohms dual coil on mine and will fit your itaste and it has adjustable air flow as well. now if you want to be a cloud machine this will not give you super huge monster clouds.

I'd be a bit leery of using that battery for heavy use as in a dual coil dripper running sub-ohm coils.

I think you would be overtaxing it considerably and would be better served using a mech mod and some quality batteries if you are heading down below .5 ohms.

JMO..your mileage may vary ;)

I got to try the Atlantis on a tube mod (same power as the Aspire battery), which does about 4.2 volts I believe. I found the vapor to be full, thick, and very strong in flavor (just right for me), but a simple tub mod for the Atlantis is not as far as those coils can go. Many are using a box mod to push the coils to around 35 watts, which causes the clouds to get pretty crazy.

I'd throw in the suggestion of trying a box mod (or sampling one from a B&M, someone should have one to play around with) and seeing if that extra power gets you to that edge.

What nic level are you using? Honestly the Atlantis sub ohm tank is pretty sweet. I would look at some higher nic if possible before spending any more money on hardware. .3 ohms at 30 watts is not worth the expenditure in opinion. My Atlantis is far superior on the dna30 compared to anything else we have built on them. An RDA for that battery is a waste of money. Spend the money on a Sigelei
