Customize your own ecig kit

We've been getting a lot of customer requests for this . . . so here we go.

Pick and choose the parts you want in your kit and save the expense of receiving unwanted extras. It's a new idea and the page is bit of a challenge to navigate so we definitely are looking for input on how we can make this better.

Don't worry about hurting our feelings, we can take it. Any feedback is good feedback.

Yep, I hear ya.

The cones with attys are tricky. Been trying to figure the best way to do it.

The HELLO kit comes with 2 cones, so would people just buy the kit instead of the or Roll Your Own? Same with EGO-T tank system. Plus, I also have a RIVA-T add-on which is a combination of a tank and carto. I'm wondering if it is all too much or would people like having additional options?

Maybe I'll just add the atty options and if it's overkill then people can tell me that it's just too much info.

So I'm working on the cone atty's now.

For the time being I'll just add them like the others, but things are getting really messy. It looks like using a drop down list offers some hope, just have to play with it some more. Trouble is each format has it's own set of rules and I don't like the rules. Too bad I can't just hit it with a hammer like I do most things that need some serious presuading.

Thanks for the kind words everyone.

Awesome image for your avatar Desert Willow. Reminds me of some works I saw a few years back from an artist in California. Just so expertly done that it really pulls you in.

Been busy lining up some new products for us that will fill some gaps. USB pass throughs, some mondo sized battery setups with 510 threading, etc. And oddly enough, I've been getting requests for some ePipes. So been looking around for a reliable supplier and have to get some samples in for testing. It's a painfully slow process sometimes, but we just keep chugging along.

Not sure how I ended up in this thread, possibly the catchy title.

Good prices at your site. I like that $45 808 starter kit. I'll be sending new members to you. It's the perfect kit to get going for a while.

The Roll Your Own Kit is very confusing. Doesn't kit imply everything you need to get started? What about the charger, 2nd battery, atomizer or cartomizer default? How do you have a tank atty without including the tanks?

If you want to sell a starter kit without those maybe you could make them subtractions to the basic kit, but at least include a default of everything you need to get started. Seems to me a beginner would be so confused by the options and missing pieces. Your starter kit without additions appears to be a battery and a cone.

Anyway you asked. Great idea, great name for it, just not exactly a kit to me and not a full set of options.

I agree, Juicejunky, it is confusing.

Kit Batteries - Towards the bottom of the page it spells out how many batteries come with each option. Riva & EGO come with two, HELLO only one.

Kit Chargers - Same thing as above. Riva & EGO come with USB + Wall Charger, while HELLO has Wall Charger only.

Kit Cones - Most of the cones listed are just hollow cones like you'd normally see on the Riva. The option for the EGO-T tank cone/atty is listed, but doesn't tell you that it comes with 5 empty tanks. I'll fix that.

If that's not confusing enough it gets worse. You almost have to know ahead of time what comes standard in each kit. For example, if you buy a Riva Kit (not the roll your own) it comes standard with 2 batteries, 1 cone, 2 attys and 5 cartridges. Anyone who likes that setup can just buy the Riva Kit all by itself.

But that same person might know going in they will be using cartomizers anyway and have no need for the 2 atty's and cartridges. So they shouldn't have to pay for them. The roll your own kit allows them to select cartomizers from the get go.

So I've been wondering if more pics might help, or may a PDF cheat sheet that explains it better. What do you all think?

Now just to throw a monkey wrench into the works, what happens when we start carrying the Riva and EGO in 5 different colors each? It could get real messy real fast.

And since my head is already spinning, why not consider a few new products we'll be adding soon? Like the ePipe and the Mondo battery setup shown here.

Yep, that bad boy is vaporific. The one I've been trying is 3.7 volt so I stick all kinds of attachments on there to see how they work. I tried a low resistance carto on there and it seemed to fry it, but some of the LR cartos I get are bad before you take them out of the wrapper. I even had a whole bad box. So we've decided not to sell that brand, all the others seem to work fine.

I'll also have some of those in the 6.0 volt version. Once they get in stock next week we'll see how well they sell.

See how confused I was, I missed all that good stuff.

Maybe if you state what is include as the basic kit at the top I wouldn't have missed it. Also all the extra stuff like the cool box, tank thing, etc. should come at the very end in one category as deluxe additions. Very distinct sections for batteries, chargers, attys/cartos, cones, juice, and extras would make it easier to follow.

Check out Cignot's site. She doesn't offer such a complicated option selection as you, but you can change colors and there are subtractions as well as additions for the kit. Her's has gotten a lot more confusing and complicated too since my last visit. Build your own computer sites, like what Dell used to do, might have some good ideas how to organize all those if, then options. Keep is simple with less options is better than confusing the crap out of a newbie looking for a starter kit. I can sort of see the Roll Your Own concept in its complicated form being good for an experienced vaper ordering for a new vaper, but most new vapers wouldn't have a clue what they were being asked to choose.

Pictures always help-worth a thousand words and all. Links to what things are help too, even if it's just to where you sell it on its own on your site.
