You know I've been thinking about this for quite some time. And if what Ron Paul is saying is true, then why can't we take this to court and have it overturned for violating our rights? It's done all the time and I for one am getting sick of having my individual liberties stripped away from me. I'm sorry but all this bureaucratic nonsense is sickening. Oh we don't want to hurt the feelings of so and so by having a cross or God or what not on a building. It's all nonsense. People come to this country and all of a sudden things that have been done for years gets thrown in the gutter and stomped on because some overly sensitive wing nut decides that seeing a cross in some public place offends them. Well guess what...... Those people who say those things offend me. This is just one more thing that government is trying to control and it makes me sick that they have this whole it's for the kids mentality so either smoke regular cigarettes and die or quit. I've seen a lot of garbage come out of peoples mouths about tobacco. I say let them pass this sorry bill and then find some big time lawyer to fight it. If it truly violates our constitutional rights then the courts have the power to put this thing in the garbage.
you could take it to the courts.... bad news... ecigs would be banned.. remodeled.. and sold by philip morris before you ever got an answer
we live in a REPUBLIC.... NOT a democracy... the most known republic in history was Rome... and we can all see what went wrong there. it's a system that CAN work... but it requires the people to TAKE the power back from the powerhungry... and at that point.. courts dont cut it
as to offense from seeing a cross somewhere... we live in a country and a time where people just seem OVERLY sensitive.. i am an agnostic that was raised atheist... even when i was atheist i never hada problem with crosses... i would never have aproblem with the ten commandments in or around a courthouse... as long as our government and legal system are run by LAW and not religion... i'm fine. no single religion has a place in the rule of law
it has become shameful and quite honestly... embarrassing that our lives are being ruled by "the powers that be" with only the minority of overly sensitive people in mind
somewhere in the system... our government officials seem to have forgotten the oath they took for thier office.. we have a constant bombardment of rights being taken away in the name of our safety... and they always answer the chargewith " it's my job to protect the PEOPLE of the country".. funny... the oath says to "protect the CONSTITUTION" not the people... or even the land... it's the ideal..
