You know I've been thinking about this for quite some time. And if what Ron Paul is saying is true, then why can't we take this to court and have it overturned for violating our rights? It's done all the time and I for one am getting sick of having my individual liberties stripped away from me. I'm sorry but all this bureaucratic nonsense is sickening. Oh we don't want to hurt the feelings of so and so by having a cross or God or what not on a building. It's all nonsense. People come to this country and all of a sudden things that have been done for years gets thrown in the gutter and stomped on because some overly sensitive wing nut decides that seeing a cross in some public place offends them. Well guess what...... Those people who say those things offend me. This is just one more thing that government is trying to control and it makes me sick that they have this whole it's for the kids mentality so either smoke regular cigarettes and die or quit. I've seen a lot of garbage come out of peoples mouths about tobacco. I say let them pass this sorry bill and then find some big time lawyer to fight it. If it truly violates our constitutional rights then the courts have the power to put this thing in the garbage.

you could take it to the courts.... bad news... ecigs would be banned.. remodeled.. and sold by philip morris before you ever got an answer

we live in a REPUBLIC.... NOT a democracy... the most known republic in history was Rome... and we can all see what went wrong there. it's a system that CAN work... but it requires the people to TAKE the power back from the powerhungry... and at that point.. courts dont cut it

as to offense from seeing a cross somewhere... we live in a country and a time where people just seem OVERLY sensitive.. i am an agnostic that was raised atheist... even when i was atheist i never hada problem with crosses... i would never have aproblem with the ten commandments in or around a courthouse... as long as our government and legal system are run by LAW and not religion... i'm fine. no single religion has a place in the rule of law

it has become shameful and quite honestly... embarrassing that our lives are being ruled by "the powers that be" with only the minority of overly sensitive people in mind

somewhere in the system... our government officials seem to have forgotten the oath they took for thier office.. we have a constant bombardment of rights being taken away in the name of our safety... and they always answer the chargewith " it's my job to protect the PEOPLE of the country".. funny... the oath says to "protect the CONSTITUTION" not the people... or even the land... it's the ideal..

Tauk you are one of the few and I thank you. I like you don't care if there are crosses and such on courthouses as long as it's upholding the law. But the road this country is going down is exactly how you said it. Catering to the overly sensitive minority. I live in TX and I heard a story on the radio about some new public park that was offering to sell bricks with something personal on it to the public to have placed in a walkway. One person bought a brick. Paid for it and everything already, then decided that for their mark they wanted to have a cross on it. That person was told that they couldn't do it. That to many people would be offended by it and they had to change what they wanted. They weren't even allowed to get their money back. It's the little things like that that seem insignificant to a lot of people until they realize that soon something that they value, ie the right to choose e-cigs or analogs, is stripped away from them. I honestly feel that soon we won't have any rights at all. If our right to something simple as choosing a cigarette or an e-cigarette is taken away, what will they take away next? The way things are going I'm sure we'll see a right to breathe tax in the future somewhere. I'm sure it's already there in some form we just don't know it yet.

Take a look at the hops market in the beer industry. There are not many who do grow hops and it is a very difficult field to break into and those who do grow it are very well off. I see Tobacco production heading in this direction. There will be a select few who raise the crop and not unlike the free mason society it will be very difficult to get into. But oh to be a tobacco farmer in these days to come. And of course, you realize, those folks won't have any trouble finding tobacco to smoke and at the perfect price. At this moment i am doing research into what it takes to grow it myself and cure it on my own with a measure of ease.

Amen brother, our government has become "" Its time we take back our given rights. Sorry to say the time for Kumbaya and lets join in and protest is long gone. Time to get really ...... off and quit acting like a bunch of P$%%*@$

Dr. Benjamin Franklin said it best "Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote."

OMG. This is my first post on here. I have not even got to try my new e-cig yet. It is in the mail.

I am happy to have a Ron Paul post be my first on here.

I love Ron Paul. He is doing great things. If only he was president. I was not a big voter in the past but this year I was sure to resister just to vote for him in the primary election.

Do you guys know about this.
Edit: O I can't put a link here. Google "HR 1207"
He got all the sponsors he needed and it will be going to a vote.

I am both excited and scared for myself and the rest of the American people.
