it's actually prestty simple depending on which regulator you use. If you use a fairchild regulator it will allow it to work at both 3.7 and 5 volts but the trade off is going to be a tight fit. Some of the other ldo regulators without control will be pretty easy to fit up in the cap area but will limit you to 5 volts only. I'm not sure of other
devices that are like the fairchild and smaller that will allow less that the dropout voltage to pass but I'm usre they're out there.
we're waiting on the longer tubes as the ones we have now are a bit mismatched in diameter. The tubes natively will support either 1 18650 or 2 16340's either 3 v or 3.7 volt.
