Roughstack v2 replacement cap

I just bought a roughstack v2 replacement cap and it fits fine on my v2 long body but it wont fit on my v2 short body. Any clue why this is? Any solutions? My old cap fits both just fine but the connector on my old cap got messed up and I cant get the connector out to replace it so I bought a new one and now I can only use the long body

I had a similar problem. I stopped by the retail store ans picked up a short body for my Maxi RS V2. When I got back home it wouldn't thread on to the top cap whatsoever. It looked fine but no go. I mailed it back and MV quickly replaced it. So...if I were you, I would fill out a ticket and swap it out for another.
