Thanks for the links, six! I knew someone far more knowledgeable then myself would point me in the right direction.

I won't claim any knowledge. Just a real love for these 5.0v batts with dual coil cartos on my maxi rough stack ;) Madvapes caramel tobacco and BWB applewood never tasted or felt so good!

Edit: in case you missed this, it is worth having for your maxi RS

Don't let Six kid you. Very knowledgeable and very helpful to folks on the site.

I'd definitely recommend the Maxi over the standard. It's only $5 more and you have a lot more voltage options based on battery configuration.

I got mine today along with some dual coil cartomizers. The thing hits like a Mack truck at 6v. Love the size and shape too. Fits in my hand just like a roll of quarters. You want be disappointed with the purchase. Also, if you order before midnight on Memorial Day you get an additional 5% off.

I love 3.7v roughstack w/ 1.7ohm 306 atty (short and rocks) and w/ 1.6ohm clear 510 dual coil (long and powerful).
I prefer the non tumbled finish.
Drip tip on 306 atty is sweet.
I love the 2.39" short one but I've gone through 2 batts today.
If I could do over I would get short tube and long tube w/ 3.7 batts.
Dual coil really kicks at 3.7 volts; no desire for more.
It looks great...dunno why people think it's ugly.
Don't forget to vasoline threads to prevent galling.

I have a Maxi Roughstack V2 and am thinking of ordering The Regulator fron Nhaler. Has anyone tried this?

"Will take your 6v or higher device and turn it into 5v regulated power. Can be used with two 3v batteries or two 3.7v batteries and will deliver conditioned 5v power, maintaining a steady 5v under load. We strongly recommend you use this product with protected batteries or a protected device. The Regulator is the size of a cartomizer. The Regulator will produce heat under heavy use. Uses a proprietary 510 connector. "

I have to be honest here. I love madvapes. I order from them almost every week. However, I don't find devices that are limited to 3.7, 5, 6, and 7.4 volts impressive in the least. 3.7 isn't enough and 5 volts or over is too much and yes I have tried higher ohm atomizers. If you want a fixed voltage device then the roughstack is a good one but, VV is the way to go.

Interesting.

1.6ohm dual coil carto at 3.7v:
Vape is warm; seems weird so I move my tongue out of the way.
TH seems to go further down throat; can't decide if I like.
Guess I'm a wienny

I discovered I like a couple powerful juices smoked like a tobacco pipe; cool:)

I'm sure I will eventually get a VV mod. I'm going to have a hard time convincing my wife that I actually need one though! :)
